Same in my "Red" state. Dudes (duds!) of both parties are claiming {our state needs to be welcoming to new businesses, and such measures would be unattractive to business}!

So they're good with trafficking, medicalizing, and non-personing children and women for the $$$$.

Enraging!!!

I'm collecting evidence and well phrased considerations for the next legislative session. Gonna make some noise!

Good for you! We need to fight this battle on the state and local level too!

Tentative good news...

I'd sent a thank you email to a woman state legislator who was much maligned for submitting a flurry of women and children protection bills ("anti-trans" pthffff). She responded stating next session, the Repubs were to address those bills. In her detailed, loquacious response, it was clear she's GC! Very knowledgeable! Yeah!

We MUST advocate! Else the "duds" will assume women consent. Letters being prepped to fire off...

I am so happy that you are running with this - thank you!

If we each wrote one letter, or made one informative call, a day or a week, to a journalist, an organization, a politician, etc., we could alert a lot of people in positions of relative power to what is going on, or alert the corrupt ones to the organic groundswell of TERFism in the US from across the political spectrum.

I realize that many of us aren't in a position to be activists (although there are many anonymous email services available and you can use them with the TOR browser) but any of us who can speak out need to now.
