Thanks for this! BTW how do we archive versions of webpages? I need to improve my interweb literacy :-)

You're welcome!

Copy the url of the page you want to archive and past it in the upper box in this page, then click on archive. Keep in mind that if you hit a paywall, Webpage archive won't unblock it. Though, you can past the url in the lower box to see if there is an archived version already.

Adult trans kids suing the clinics... coming in 18 months or less.

You know who else I think should be sued? All the adults who have turned their kids into show ponies for transgenderism & any other cause, be it climate change, drag culture, veganism, breastfeeding or whatever.

I am so irate at the way people plaster their kids' images & personal info all over social media & are always going to the press with stories of their "speshul" kids & "unique" families just so the parents can garner attention for themselves. To me, it's child exploitation & abuse. If someone decides to share all the intimate details of their growing up with the world when they are adults, fine - they can write a memoir or post their recollections on social media. But that should be their decision. These attention-seeking parents are taking that choice away from their kids by using them in this way.

It's why I have alway had mixed feelings about writers like Anne Lamott. I think she's really funny & insightful. But I was/am very uneasy about how she mined & shared every aspect of her son's life for her writing career.

I agree, kids can't consent to what their parents share on internet for head pats. As if sharing kids' personal info and pics isn't bad and dangerous enough, they have to add irreversible physical damage into the mix. I hope to see trans kids sue the adults who failed them.

Wondering if they have to sign agreements that make them unable to sue before they get “treatment”.

The parents might, but the same issues of cognitive capacity would apply. Can a 13 year-old comprehend the consequences of signing a liability waiver?
