I've also seen the trans crowd rebuttal, usually along the lines: who cares if they're sterilized? are you some natalist that you think everyone needs to have kids biologically related to them? people can always adopt. or something to that effect. that's not the point, the point is that you're sterilizing young children. historically sterilization/eugenics was one of the most twisted tactics used on "undesirables". to see it brushed aside is disturbing.

As a staunch misanthropic antinatalist, I agree with you. I don't support medical/surgical sterilization... I despise the healthcare/medical industry. I prefer the segregation approach... separate males and females so they can't fuck/reproduce. 😁

I downvote all of the sterilization posts on the childfree subreddit. There would be no need for a vasectomy, tubal ligation, blah blah blah if males and females would just stopped fucking (and men stopped raping girls/women). Sheesh.

I desperately want tubal ligation and I'm 17 years old - https://www.reddit.com/r/childfree/comments/mo5bv8/i_desperately_want_tubal_ligation_and_im_17_years/

Cringe!!

The thing is that unfortunately rape results in >30,000 unwanted pregnancies every year in the US alone. Women are smart to take steps to prevent this possibility from happening to them. Of course the goal is to end rape, but unlike the trans we have to live in the real world as it exists right now.
