I think the child was eventually rescued but obviously all the men in the house were aware if not participating. There were no women in the house.

I believe Ashton/Aimee's mum might have been in residence at the time, though perhaps not there that day/week. She and her husband have married each other twice, and my understanding is that she has remained steadfast and loyal to him throughout all the abuse.

But perhaps when the dad committed the kidnapping, rape and torture of this particular poor little girl, the mum was elsewhere. She has physical and mental illnesses, so might have been away for care, or just away coz she and hubby were temporarily separated at the time.

This is a very troubled family.

Yep. This needs to be blasted out on full decibels, because the torrent of Redditools referring to the individual as "she" has blown through my annual tolerance for cognitive dissonance already.
