"Emily, 13, says she plans to be a plaintiff should the American Civil Liberties Union sue the state of Mississippi over this law, like it did Idaho last year (a lawyer for the group says it is considering it).

“I want to do something about it,” Emily says. “Because it’s not right. It doesn’t matter if you’re cisgender, transgender or gay. Everyone should be able to play sports if they’re good at it or really want to.”"

Looks like another male bodied trans teen is gearing up for the oppression olympics! There is never any response printed from women's teams because the TRAs would dox and ruin their lives if they say "NO!". What would girls know about how they feel about male bodied people in their sports, they're victimizing these poor trans girls!" cue sarcasm

Clown world.

How sad is the world today when a 13 is gearing up to be a plaintiff in a lawsuit. "i'm ready to sue !!!" When I was 13 I was getting ready for school. This kid is getting ready to go to court voluntarily.

I would venture to guess that no 13-year-old's priority is to become a national figure because of a court case. IMO this kid is being used. Shame on who's doing it.

In the age of social media stardom and tiktok millionaires and plenty of kids want to cash in. Being the face of a cause is a surefire way to get the ball rolling.

It's amazing, isn't it? Really, the rise in narcissism is astounding.

So glad I grew up before cellphones, internet, etc. We were out riding our bikes, going to the ice cream shop, playing with dolls and Lego, swimming & hiking - not stuck in front of a screen inventing micro-identities 24/7
