Yep. Whatever the Left thinks is "Conservative" is NOT. Not at all. They're all in on the Woke game.

Ben Franklin!!!!

Cheers to you for trying. You should tell us who the politician is so we can all send letters explaining basic biology.

It shouldn't be surprising the same lobbyists paying the Democrats would also pay the pockets of Republicans.

I actually think the Senator, and I wish I could remember which one, was not a Trans Women Are Women type, but his staffer had probably just graduated and yeah, Queer Theory is now taught as the gospel at many if not most US schools, so she'd been indoctrinated.

I honestly can't remember which office, because it was back when HE was nominated. I was so outraged I called a few conservative Senators randomly, figuring they might block the nomination.

I want to see and maintain a full list of Congress Creeps who vote in favor of this TiM and who vote for the Erasure of Women Act. I'm not a political activist, but I want to make as many people aware as I can of who is on record as being anti-Woman and pro-violation of children. Those Congress Creeps should have to own it the rest of their lives. "Anti-woman Senator Chuck Schumer" and "Hardcore supporter of mutilating surgeries for children Nancy Pelosi" -- they should always be introduced that way.

Are you a writer? Or could you be, by which I mean, maybe write a piece about this and see if a GC-friendly publication will take it?

I'm not a writer, but maybe I should try. I appreciate the encouragement. How many GC-friendly pubs are there though? I thought of doing a blog but figured it would be pulled down for "hate."

Wouldn't it be great to have some GC (ie reality-based!) webhosts.

I've seen so many mainstream articles about "how to safely choke your gf during sex" yet "why men are not women and can never be women" would be flagged in an instant.

You could try Quillette, Unherd, Uncommon Ground. Maybe a piece for WoLF's site?

Is Graham Linehan taking submissions for his new venture?

They hung up on you probably because they assumed you were some kind of journalist looking for a soundbite so you get a recording of them agreeing with you that he's a man, and then could turn it around and claim how "TrAnSpHoBiC" it all is. They probably agree with you but are actively trying to control their messaging to avoid this sort of threat where someone calls in trying to manufacture a controversy.

This is also what makes it difficult to have any discussion even on the opposite end of the political spectrum; any legitimate criticism like "hey maybe their death threats to women are bad" are viewed as literal bigotry. None may step out of line on trans issues lest they be labelled right-wing, regardless of actual political leanings.

I don't know, because the young staffer had listened respectively while I railed against the Equality Act. I guess calling a man "he" was a bridge too far.

Yes, the gender lobby got a big jump on everyone with the propaganda starting subtly years ago with all those Transparent, and Danish Girl and Trans-America and Bruce and Jazz - so by the time we woke up, saying something like "Women don't have penises" was OUTRAGEOUS.

Noooo! Not the Conservatives too! 😭

Did you call back? You have the right to speak your mind to your representatives.

He wasn't my senator; I have the nasty habit of calling EVERY SENATOR, because I'm in an extremely populous state with TWO SENATORS, while Wyoming has something like 3 people and two senators too. It's truly annoying.

Civics, your high population state gets more House representatives than lower population states.

[–]BEB[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Civics is a distant memory for me ;-) I'm just saying that it's really frustrating that tens of millions of people in one state get two Senators, whereas a state that has less than a million also get two Senators.

It might be annoying to you and some others, but it's not to many of the rest of us in the US. Representation in the US House is done proportional to population, but not in the Senate as part of the system of checks & balances. Giving the one state in the union that is the most populous state by far more clout in both chambers would mean CA would rule the country even more than it already does. CA has enough power and influence as it is coz it's the home of Silicon Valley/most of big tech, Hollywood/TV and the entertainment and media industries, agriculture, advertising and aerospace...

Wyoming actually has nearly 600,000 people. But the sneer is duly noted.

Everything is recorded now so I wouldn't be surprised if she hung up because she thought it was a 'gotcha' recording and if she thought if she said 'he'' she would get in trouble.

[–]BEB[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I really hadn't considered that until it was mentioned here, but Congressional staffers often speak freely, so I don't know if they're being recorded, or if the recordings are actually monitored.
