Good god. Look at the men who are cheering this on as “it puts women in their place”. This is why I think the trans extremists will win big, and women will be set back hundreds of years.

Yeah, it's interesting to see the male reaction. They blame feminism for this mess - and there is some justification for that, from the liberal feminists. But the ones who just had intellectual disagreements with feminism are still speaking against the insanity of transgenderism. The ones who just hate women are cheering it on.

This is a very conservative media outlet, full of crusty, old, male commenters. The fact this article was published here means that some part of the Republican establishment wants to use transgender participation in women's sports as a cudgel against the Democrats. We see that on the state level with the GOP in 25 or so US states putting up Save Women's Sports type bills in the state legislatures.

That being said, I think a lot of men are genuinely perplexed by what is happening in terms of allowing men to participate in women's sports, and would authentically support women on this issue.

The locker room issue too, but, I think, the GOP got so nailed by trying to fight against TiMs in women's bathrooms that they're staying away from that, unless women like us protest and give them cover.

Speaking as someone who thinks the detransition issue is more important than women's sports, I think a lot of you may agree with me, I hope we progress to focusing more on that as a culture soon.

Obviously I realize that these issues are "compliments" and not just "substitutes", to speak in crass economic terms.

I do think women's sports are important, although I don't have much of an emotional connection to male or female sports, generally.
