She's got 89 K likes for this statement:

"This is just the beginning.. welcome to the rebellion."

While I think she otherwise spouts some nonsense, I do hope she keeps publicly resisting gender ideology.

All this fuss over someone who isn't good at acting. Lol

Wow, not even close to the point.

I like her.

This seems like an uphill battle. You don't just need five actors who don't care about being blacklisted by hollywood, you need cameramen, a director, an assistant director, a cinematographer, a screenwriter, etcetera.

According to an old friend who works in entertainment, a lot of crew on movies ("below the line") are conservative.

Given the rancor in the US right now between conservatives and progressives, the hatred many of the former feel for liberal Hollywood actors and content, and the rise of streaming, conservatives just might be able to build their own small industry.

Thank you for your response, that didn't occur to me.

Yes, the producers, directors, actors (above-the-line) in film tend to be uber-liberal and depraved in their morals. They are always searching for the cutting edge, in their personal lives and in their "art."

Below-the-line are quite often the polar opposite.

Given the state of the US today, I can see a thriving, if small at first, conservative film industry.

The Daily Wire created a movie recently. I didn't see it, but I heard that while some of the effects were a little cheesy, it was a big hit with the audience and generally well-made. I don't agree with conservatives on everything, but this seems like a logical continuation of that project, and I hope they - and Gina - does well with the next one, too.

I had not heard about this. I looked it up and they did not create it, they only bought the rights to distribute it. Still, it's a good start. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Oh, thank you for finding out the details about that. Yeah, on the one hand, it's great that they're providing an alternative route for people who are canceled for anti-wokeness. It's something I wish radical feminists could do themselves, if we were more organized. On the other hand I don't like that companies are going to be dividing up along political lines, rather than just making good product. That's not likely to end well.

I don't know what it's like in the US but in the UK right now it's impossible to blacklist crew because there's so much work productions are competing for staff. I have 2 fighting over me right now. I know loads of people who have been told they'll never work on the industry again (some for legitimately nasty stuff like stalking) who are now never out of work. And this is during lockdown.

Actors are blacklistable because there's so many they can always be replaced.

Good input, you know more about this than I do. Thank you.

From her other tweets, it also looks like she thinks the pandemic is a conspiracy and the election was rigged against Trump. She's just going to be dismissed as another right-wing nutter. She agrees with us that the whole thing's ridiculous, but there's no analysis of the ideology and she doesn't represent our point of view.
