I would love to see a lawsuit come of this.

WTF is Strangio even saying: Shrier and 'JK' are 'closely aligned with white supremacists in power'? What does that mean? Do they hold secret meetings together? Do they have the same board of directors?

Shrier went to Yale Law School, so IDK what the hell Strangio is thinking.

However, if this does go to court, I think it would be splendid for us, because the publicity surrounding it would cause a lot of "Progressive" Americans to finally have to think beyond their superficial endorsement of trans propaganda and examine what gender ideology means to their own lives.

Shouldn't a lawyer know better than open herself to a possible lawsuit for libel?

She probably thinks the fact white supremacy basically means whatever the speaker wants it to now will protect her. She'll say "oh I just meant they support liberal western ideas and the integrity of the state."

I don't know about the US but in the UK she wouldn't get away with that. They would take both the most basic definition, the most common usage and everything else likely to be implied. As in the recent Johnny Depp case they decide that if you hit your partner just once you could be fairly classified as a wifebeater and they also looked at the other definition which would be a pattern of abuse.

Far as I know, libel/slander laws are pretty weak in the US. Unfortunately.

It's funny you say that, back in 2016, one of the things Trump pushed was a toughening of the libel laws. The media was OUTRAGED.....could you imagine how different the past 4 years would have been if the insane hyperbole surrounding him had not been allowed to persist ? As per usual, his quote was a bit of a mess, but here was the main thrust of his argument :

"One of the things I'm going to do if I win, and I hope we do and we're certainly leading. I'm going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money. We're going to open up those libel laws."

Just imagine if CNN and every other MSM outlet hadn't been able to push the collusion theory, they couldn't have said he was groomed by the kgb for 30 years, pushed the claim that he was a white supremacist, etc etc.

I didn't know that. It's a shame that didn't happen. I think one of the biggest problems with the media is that there's no accountability for any of their bullshit.

Strangio is such a scumbag for calling her a "white supremacist". Shrier is Jewish. If anything, the Nazis were "pro" human experimentation on children, so Chase should look in a mirror before calling people names.

Even more ironically, the Nazis performed sex-change operations on children.

Dr. Mengele had an unlimited supply of human beings which could be used as guinea pigs at his disposal, and commanded absolute power over their lives. One of the experiments he pursued was transsexual operations. He hypothesized that, by surgically transplanting the reproductive organs of people, he could force a sex changes between the subjects. Simon Wiesenthal recounts in his memoirs a story about a boy who underwent such a surgery: “I met another man whom the scientists of Auschwitz, after several operations, had successfully turned into a woman. He was then thirteen years old. After the war, a complicated operation was performed on him in a West German clinic. The doctors restored the man’s physical masculinity, but they couldn’t give him back his emotional equilibrium.” Most of the victims of these sex change experiments died from the grisly operations performed without anesthesia

Even more - they were the ones who invented modern type of SRS and promoted "trans the gay away".

Chase Strangio literally sounds like a name belonging to a supervillain.

I'm putting on the popcorn for this one. If she wants to crowdfund to sue the ACLU, I'm in.
