Is there a mental condition that's all about extremes? In his normal male state, he was extreme. Few men are that bulked up, heavily tattooed, making a living physically beating down other men. He was extreme as a man. Then his mentally ill pendulum swings to the other extreme and he looks like... THAT. That poor little girl. This is child abuse.

I couldn't stomach reading the article to find out if he's suddenly "lesbian" now.

A man wearing his mom's clothes as a boy is not secretly a woman. He's a serial killer in the making. Yeah, I said it. Geddit? Saidit!

Before tech bros were a big thing the military was the biggest recruiter for the trans train.

So it was common for men to go from the most macho profession to wanting to be a bimbo.

It's partly because these men have an absolute belief in gender stereotypes, which leads them into macho jobs to start with, and partly it's because those jobs are so highly stressed that men in them almost all have some kind of addiction or mental health problem and autogynephilia is just one of the more obvious ones.

James Shupe is quite good on this problem.

Shupe was the first American to get legal non-binary status; he then reversed course and is now an outspoken critic of gender ideology. And yes, he's very informative on why seemingly macho men transition.

He got a ton of press for being non-binary, and almost none outside of conservative media, for declaring gender ideology a fraud. So tell me the media isn't in on this gender ideology gaslighting (it is.)

The patriarchy.

I would not want to meet this gal in a dark alley.

Seriously, every time this happens going forward we all need to brigade the media outlet's Twitter account/comment section and ask why Hilaria Baldwin, who genuinely loves Spain, is ridiculed while Lovely here - a fun house mirror of a drag queen - is feted?

Exactly. This gross guy looks like a badly-drawn cartoon now. If anyone should be called out, it’s him. His daughter is too young for this not to damage her. But hey, it’s all about Tyler wanting the attention on him since his career’s over.

[–]BEB[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

He's doing interviews and has a publicist releasing press releases so yes, some of this could be a desperate bid for attention now that his sports career is over.

How can anyone look at this guy and think, "Oh, trans women really are women?" How? Boggles my mind. He's a textbook autogynephile.

Due to the media onslaught of the last 10 or so years, during which we've been bombarded from all sides by representations of TiMs (TRANSPARENT, TRANSAMERICA, THE DANISH GIRL, etc., and ad nauseum) many people are now scared to speak out for fear that they're the only one who can see that the Emperor has no clothes.

It doesn't help that in many countries, our kids are being bombarded with gender ideology in school, so if we state the obvious, that biological sex is real and that's why you're here kid, we get mocked by our own children.

In my day, parents ruled. Now, I feel, kids rule, and many parents are desperate to be hip and stay on their kid's good side, so try to believe and push gender ideology and not notice its glaring lies.

[–]Femaleisnthateful 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Gender ideology is absolutely codified in social media like Tumblr and Reddit. Most adults don't have a clue what gender ideology or even transgenderism means. I think most naively assume that there is some new scientific evidence that they're not familiar with and just go along with the flow for fear of being labelled a bigot.

To be fair, parents who do understand what's going on are being actively undermined by legislation that denies them the right to block 'gender affirming' medical procedures and accuses them of 'abuse' if they don't 'affirm' a child's 'gender identity'.

[–]BEB[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The gender legislation being passed under the radar around the world will be truly horrifying once parents wake up.

I think in the US, Biden's executive order opened the door a crack, but at the moment the concern is about sports - wait until parents wake up to the fact that legislation has already been passed that takes away their right to decide their "gender divergent" kids' health!

Your first paragraph is what was happening to a lot of my middle-aged, well-educated friends with kids in high-parental income schools. They're not on Tumblr or Reddit, but their kids are being brainwashed in the schools. Then the kids come home and make their parents (who were Goths or punks or whatever was hip at the time when they themselves were in school) feel like they're old-fashioned. So the parents embrace gender ideology in an attempt to be with it.

In the meantime, the gender lobby has been relentless in trying to normalize transgenderism/ genderism in the media, both entertainment and publications. The gender lobby in the US has also bought up formerly respected popular science magazines and forced them to lie that there's new data that biological sex is a spectrum, etc.

That the gender lobby is pushing the sex is a spectrum line makes no sense in itself, because if biological sex is a spectrum, what is transgenderism, given that it's a member of one sex feeling that they're the opposite sex? But then trans logic does eat itself...

I am curious about the wife in all this. How does she really feel about it? I imagine between her love for him, her desire to keep her family unit intact, and the pressure to not be transphobic in the eyes of an increasingly belligerent TRA society, she does not have a lot of space to feel or express her own feelings. She does not have much opportunity to grieve the loss of her husband and the relationship they had before.

[–]BEB[S] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

In the video, she looks like she's in a hostage situation. We need to get her to that trans widow organization.

[–]WildApples 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

And he knows his wife is not sexually attracted to him like that and they are not sexually active because of it, but he thinks it is fine because they "discovered a whole different part of the relationship." Yeah, it is cool for him because he gets the thrill of having his wife treat him like one of the girls, but what is she getting out of that?

[–]BEB[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Nothing. Her life is in ruins. She's probably scared for her daughter's mental health, but can't even acknowledge that fear. As it seems with many heterosexual TiMs, it's all about him.

[–]MarkTwainiac 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I imagine a main reason they don't have sex anymore isn't just that his wife is turned off and grossed out and shell shocked, it's coz for a long time now his main sex life has consisted of wanking to porn several times a day. Probably to sissy bimbo forced feminization "she male" porn, too.

Christ almighty. Proof it’s really a fetish- no one with body confidence issues would go into wrestling. Actually feel a little ill.

[–]BEB[S] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think these middle-aged men who are "coming out as women" are good, ol' fashioned transvestites - by which I mean the autogynephiles who used to have to hide their fetish, or show it off at gay bars in the past.

But gender ideology has now given them cover to think, and to claim, that they are actual women.

There's a trans widow organization that the wife needs stat:

And many of you would be okay with this as long as he didn't identify as a woman. SMFH no one should legally be able to do any of this shit!

[–]Poppy29252 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

What??? Isn't the "I'm a woman now." the problem?

[–]lefterfield 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

I would have a problem with men dressing for their sexual fetish in public, regardless of what they identify as. But what are you proposing making illegal? Men wearing certain clothing? Men wearing makeup or getting fake breasts?

[–]Britishbulldog 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It’s a interesting one. If men dressing as women (even though it’s often a fetish) was accepted and they didn’t say they were women, I would massively prefer that. Anyone doing something in public to stimulate a fetish is just disgusting, but the alternative is what we have- hiding it and then claiming to be us.

[–]copenseethe 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Eddie Izzard walked that line for a while. He portrayed himself as a guy that liked to dress as a woman sometimes. Unfortunately, now he is announcing his preferred pronouns.

[–]lefterfield 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah, completely agree.

[–]censorshipment 4 insightful - 7 fun4 insightful - 6 fun5 insightful - 7 fun -  (7 children)

Men mocking women. "Female impersonation" should be against the law.

[–]FediNetizen 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I'll take "people that don't understand how the 1st Amendment works" for $500, Alex.

Mocking women (or anyone) is one of the most ironclad protections afforded by the 1st amendment. The government can't regulate how people dress and express themselves.

[–]censorshipment 1 insightful - 5 fun1 insightful - 4 fun2 insightful - 5 fun -  (1 child)

Ffs, I'm talking about getting hormones and surgeries to change.

[–]FediNetizen 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The best you could hope to achieve is a return to standards where it requires extensive therapy and that you be a certain age to get a diagnosis, and a diagnosis is required to gain access to hormones and surgery. No way you could ever outlaw that stuff entirely.

[–]889250 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

How could this be enforced without also enforcing gender stereotypes/roles?

[–]censorshipment 7 insightful - 6 fun7 insightful - 5 fun8 insightful - 6 fun -  (2 children)

From a medical standpoint. Hormones nor surgeries shouldn't be given for cosmetic purposes. I think this is a capitalism issue though... exploiting and profiting off of a few different groups of people. Shouldn't exploitation in general be against the law?

[–]lefterfield 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I agree hormones and surgeries shouldn't be used for this. Along with exploitation... just not sure how you'd define it for TiMs.

[–]adungitit 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Hormones nor surgeries shouldn't be given for cosmetic purposes.

Why should we give a rat's ass what men do to themselves because of whatever latest porn trend that's gotten popular for them to emulate?

The problem is that they claim (and are able to get) legal womanhood. That's what turns it from being the usual "men fucking themselves up" or "people getting plastic surgeries" problem, to a feminist problem.

Shouldn't exploitation in general be against the law?

This is like saying "But shouldn't being mean be against the law?". You sound extremely sheltered or at least too young to be having these discussions.

[–]fuckupaddams 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

I don't care what fucked up things people want to do to their bodies, but don't say you're a woman and demand access to women's disagrees if you're a man.

[–]censorshipment 2 insightful - 5 fun2 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 5 fun -  (2 children)

But that's the whole purpose now... so why support it? Men aren't going to larp as women just for shits & giggles anymore. They aren't just gnc, ya know? They want to roleplay and go where they please.

[–]fuckupaddams 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I agree when it comes to surgeries

[–]adungitit 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

But that's the whole purpose now... so why support it?

Because people still have the right to do stuff to their bodies that we don't approve of? What they still shouldn't have the right to do is invade women's spaces and be legally recognised as women.

It's almost like rights shouldn't be changed willy-nilly at the drop of a hat.

[–]copenseethe 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Legislating a fashion choice would violate the 1stA. If the question is whether or not a man that declares himself to be a female should be allowed to compete in women's sports leagues or enter sex segregated spaces, then it is another issue.

[–]WildApples 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Exactly. And let's not forget that women used to be accused of cross-dressing when they opted for pants and more comfortable forms of dress. There was serious opposition to letting women choose for themselves how to dress. Women were subjected to arrests and physical violence for dressing like men by wearing pants.

In some parts of the world, women's dress is still highly regulated. If we give society more control over people's clothing choices, it could quickly be turned against us women again.

[–]censorshipment 2 insightful - 6 fun2 insightful - 5 fun3 insightful - 6 fun -  (1 child)

Not "fashion choice". There's clearly a difference. We know and feel it when we see it.

[–]adungitit 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You are claiming this stuff should be outlawed, regardless of who's doing it and for what reason. Sit down and think about what you're saying.

Poor wife!

It would not surprise me to learn he is violent and manipulative.

[–]WildApples 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I do not know about violent, but this exclusive story sounds kind of emotionally manipulative. His wife expressed some concerns when he started dressing in drag at night while presenting as male during the day. It is hard to tell what her concerns were; he makes it sound in retrospect like she was merely pained at his not living as his true self. I am not sure that is accurate since he felt compelled to give up drag in the following months, and she did not stop him. Things came to a head when he became depressed and suicidal and told her that he does not want to live if he cannot live as a woman. That is pretty creepy to me since threatening suicide to get your way in a relationship is about as emotionally manipulative as you can get. She probably felt she had no choice but to appease him after that since any hesitation or criticism could be accused of triggering his suicidal ideations. That is a lot of pressure.

Anyway, it is nearly impossible to tell how the wife really feels because his statements are focused exclusively on his feelings. He seems to view his wife as merely a supporting player in the story of his life.

[–]linda_senora 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I watched a video on Whose Body Is It, on YouTube.

She interviewed a trans widow and the young woman used the following words: wife appliance.

The wife is there to be serviceable. She is meant to center him, to her own detriment.

Those men are vile.

[–]BEB[S] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I just posted a link to a trans widow organization. I hope the wife gets help. She's being gas-lit by her husband, by the media in front of the world. Poor woman.

Who'd have thought that a man who used to play pretend for a living would go on to pretend bigger and bolder lies?
