Sanity is gone, isn't it? Reality died. Well, reality is still real, but acknowledgment of reality is no longer a thing.

Are they using "gender" as a synonym for "sex"? If so, it is not an identity. If they are using it to mean "external stereotypes such as clothing" -- then there is no reason to change any paperwork. You want to wear lipstick and high heels? Do it. I'm a woman who hates both, but I haven't stopped being a woman for failing to do it. And doing it won't make a man a woman.

WHY are we still having this pointless discussion? [Trans Lobby in bed with Pharma Lobby $$$$$$ and politicians worship $$$$$ -- always the answer isn't it.]

By "change" of gender on documents they mean sex. It's just the english version which uses the word gender. The Spanish version talks about sex because, unlilke English, this word has not become taboo in Spanish. Not that it really matters if they conflate it with gender identity and the "sex is a spectrum" nonsense.

The complete capture of the world by this ideology makes me feel like I'm in an alternate universe.

I get that politicians are getting gender lobby money, but what about ordinary people - why are they going along with this absurdity?

My smarter, more liberal and more educated friends actually tend to be more susceptible. Especially the women, including women who've been pregnant.

A few years ago, these same women would have laughed their heads off if you'd told them a man could be a woman by saying he is, now, so many have swallowed the kool aid.

My only hope in the US are conservatives. They're not buying this shit, and if liberal women, like many of us, also vocally say we're not buying this shit either, the conservatives will feel even more comfortable pushing back on gender ideology.

The most horrid version of gender ideology, too. Including custody removal from parents, who don't affirm their children and hate speech laws against women, who dare protest or misgendering by mistake.
