Stuff like this is insane, but also a bit of a distraction. The real story of Biden appointing someone he has no business appointing is over at the DOJ. The guy he appointed to head up the criminal division is a guy who A) previously worked in the Obama-Biden WH, and B) was until very recently a member of the firm Hunter hired to represent him in the DOJ investigation into his shady business dealings. Not only was this guy a member, he worked closely with the attorney representing Hunter. Move along folks, nothing to see here. Remember when people accused Trump of using the DOJ as his personal law firm ? Never happened. Biden actually does it right off the bat and we get crickets from the media.

The media in the US has become propaganda arms of Left & Right, spewing whatever their corporate overlords tell them to spew.

And even "independent" media, like Democracy Now! is bought - DN is now fully on board the Trans Train - why? Look at their donors.

The Gender Lobby seems to have bought Amy Goodman (Hey, Amy, prove me wrong.) Goodman is such a hypocritical gatekeeper and the worst is that she positions herself as a pious truth teller and so many ernst far-Leftists fall for her paid BS.

See, this is a bit wrong. The right has ONE channel, FOX. That's all they have. The online stuff is easily avoidable such as breitbart and gatewaypundit, etc. You have to go searching for them. The rest of the media, all broadcast media, almost all other online news sites are left leaning and they will essentially cover up any atrocious shit the Biden admin tries to push b/c they are right there with them.

The right also has OAN and Newsmax, but the Right also has a lot of sites that are extremely popular. Whereas I can't think of a Lefty site with the same amount of traffic as a Breitbart.

Trust me on this: the GOP and GOP presidents have gotten away with a Himalayan range full of shit too with the media's complicity.

The media knew that Saddam Hussein didn't have weapons of mass destruction. The Patriot Act should have been called the Rip The Bill of Rights to Shreds Act. The Republicans completely cheated in the 2000 Presidential election - hanging chads my ass.

Anyway, this isn't a debate sub, but we do seem to agree that the media in the US is bought, and that Biden is far from Saint Joe, even before he destroyed women's rights with a flick of his pen.

Sure, Breitbart is popular on the right, but the right-wing media has no real ability to shape culture in most areas. The tech industry isn't on their side, along with the left woke mob that targets them(and other lefties not woke enough). The Patriot Act was a bipartisan deal, unfortunately, as was the war in Iraq. Of course the right can lie - all politicians do - but from everything I've seen in current year, it's the far left that's more dangerous.

I agree that the Patriot Act was bi-partisan (Hello, Joe Biden!), same with Iraq War II (Hello, Joe Biden!) but they were under the administration of the Republican Smirking Chimp, Bush II.

FOX News has way more watchers than CNN and MSNBC combined, so even though it's the only conservative "mainstream" broadcast media, it still has a lot more clout than the other two.

And the Right's Outrage Machine never let up with Obama "Barack Hussein ordered DIJON mustard - how Un-American!!!" whereas the rightwing media allowed Tubby the Grifter to lie a few hundred times a day, often huge lies, without any kind of accountability.

I'm an equal opportunity hater, but fair is fair, and the bottom line is that both the rightwing and the "left" wing media in this country (the US) are bought and are just puppets to the true Powers That Be.

I agree that Fox News, CNN and MSNBC are all terrible and bad ways to get "news". I don't agree that the social impact of the bullshit from Fox is equal to the social impact of the bullshit from the other two.

Fox isn't all that right-wing. Certainly not compared to CNN or MSNBC is for the left. But yeah, I really worry about what we're not being told about this administration.
