I think the reason why he thinks I'm taking things too seriously is because every time we'd get into discussion about the trans topic when he learned I was gender critical, I would link him to sources like Facebook's "ThisNeverHappens" and WomenAreHuman as well as some videos from Magdalen Berns and he would say things like "that's not really important and that transwomen who commit crimes like that are a small minority". That alone just frustrated me to no end because he claims I spend too much time on the internet and not living in the real world when it's like, we're in the modern century and real life does kinda coincide with social media.
