"I think this bitch is mad a trans woman stole her man" "She's mad I'm prettier than her"

Why do they always use the "we're more attractive so they jealous" argument, how could you say this is not sexist and misogynistic? If you think that you are better than "cis" women because you think you're prettier and you don't get periods (I saw a tik tok that basically went like "your girlfriend moody during PMS? What a shame, if you were mine you would not get the same") and men want you than you hate women. And yet you claim to be one. Your life revolves around male validation and you wonder why feminists are your enemies. You won't date each other but we're the old-fashioned transphobes. I fucking hate them.

TIMs hate actual women, yet they want to be like them. 🙄

Yep, they can't decide whether they want to erase them or appropriate them.

Why do they always use the "we're more attractive so they jealous" argument,

When your definition of womanhood is based in superficial, sexist stereotypes, of course you will believe that the worst thing a woman could be is unattractive. To many of them, a woman is nothing more than a glorified drag queen, so if a woman is not striving for and accomplishing Kim Kardashian-level aesthetics she is failing in their eyes.

[–]SharpTomorrow 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

superficial, sexist stereotypes

that's what gender identity is, period. Unfortunately, many people on the left don't get that because it goes along well with our ultra narcissistic and individualistic society. "Libfem" is just a version of feminism compatible with that exploitative culture, it's 'incorporated' feminism.

I haven't watched the video and I don't think I want to but seeing a lot of the hate comments on Vanessa's video where it all is essentially "You're just made that "she's" prettier than you" is just... Braindead. They aren't even trying to refute anything she said in the video. I'm convinced though that like usual, it's mostly just a lot of tweens who are hatebombing her.

Anyway is this video even worth watching? Does Lux actually at least try (though fail) to refute any legitimate points that Vanessa actually made.

[–]Mermer 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

I mean I was curious enough to watch it but it's typical TRAs bs. "I was a woman before any transitioning thus no, my SRS does not make me a woman" blah blah blah, "my genitalia don't define my gender" blah blah blah. "She mad because we're prettier" blah blah blah.

But the worst of all imo was how he completely demeaned and ignored the growing number of detransitioners. He litteraly said "the small percentage is just a fact I'm not going to acknowledge that the numbers are increasing on some subreddit" like they were nothing and like the trans community isn't hurting anybody.

I am so disgusted by how they think being a woman is looking like them, ability to get a man's attention and hating on actual women and bulling people into "accepting" them. I don't think it's worth watching if you can't stand that. I know I can't but we have to do something to stop them.

I tried to watch one of Lux's other videos on transwomen in sports (they show up on my YouTube recommended feed all the damn time now), and I tried to watch because I want to keep an open mind, but God, it was just incoherent - albeit well-edited - rambling. I think I could put together a better TRA argument myself.

He's a Blaire White wannabe capitalizing on the fame of other, better quality personalities to build up his own fan base.

I really wonder where people like him are going to be ten years from now.

I'm mentally vomiting in head with that description so with that, I'm gonna pass on watching his video because i know I'm just gonna get really agitated and I'm trying to be a little more zen at this time. But yeah I agree with you so much with how disgusting these men are thinking that being a woman is all about looking as fuckable ("feminine") you are and attracting men's attention while bulldozing and trampling on women's rights. And these fetishists then start targeting us GNC women and men and try to shame us because we disrupt their little cult mentality.

[–]MarkTwainiac 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

And these fetishists then start targeting us GNC women and men and try to shame us because we disrupt their little cult mentality.

And it's not just those who are noticeably "GNC" that these guys shame and look down on. It's all the people outside their own narrow age bracket and social milieu whose "gender presentation" is pretty neutral and whose lives aren't built around demonstrating - or thinking about - our "femininity" or "masculinity" and whose sense of self and self-worth aren't based on whether we are "fuckable" in the view of sexist young men. People who don't have a "gender identity" and don't spend the bulk of our time gazing in mirrors, preening and obsessing over our appearance, "gender presentation" and attractiveness actually constitute the majority of the population.

To these regressive sexists, I and most of the rest of the female population past adolescence and early adulthood don't count as "real women" simply coz in their view we are too old and the focus of our lives isn't on being "pretty" and fuckable.

[–]Kai_Decadence 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Exactly and that is something that these men larping as wannabe women will never understand. That womanhood is not about such superficiality and that most people don't believe that they are the opposite sex but are just going with it because they don't want to be dog-piled on like examples of what happened to Magdalen Berns and now with Vanessa. And I think some people are just genuinely don't understand why these men who think they are women are being sexist and misogynistic until you actively point it out to them.

I am so disgusted by how they think being a woman is looking like them, ability to get a man's attention and hating on actual women and bulling people into "accepting" them

That is why they are calling lesbians as "not women"? Just because lesbians are not trying and not wanting to get any man's attention?

[–]Mermer 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well according to TRAs ideology "many AFABs feel disconnected from their womanhood due to the fact they like women therefore he/him lesbians are valid". Fuck you. Women love women. That is like women2. There is nothing "disconnecting from your womanhood" about loving ladies. Sexist and homophobic dressed up as "woke".

the TIM looks like a mockery of a woman based on pornstar canons while the woman look natural and more beautiful that the TIM can ever dream to be.

"I think this bitch is mad a trans woman stole her man"

Lux, the only man that you could "steal" is a creepy fetishist (for whom "woman" = biological blow-up doll) and/or gay/bi closet case. And by "steal" I mean "do some poor woman a GREAT BIG FAVOR PLEASEANDTHANKYOU!"

"She's mad I'm prettier than her"

If you're so, "pretty", bro... why do ya need more makeup than Tammy Faye Baker and a SHIT-TON OF PLASTIC SURGERY???

And you know what you "I'm a LAY-DEE" dudes always look like when you're not SUPER-young anymore, right? i.e., once you stop being anything even close to a boy and reach inarguable manhood? Hint: google "Milton Berle in drag".

Something about glass houses and stones springs to mind...

Give Vanessa Vokey some support and report the abusive comments if you can.

I reported the video for bullying.

Definitely gonna do this too.

[–]Kai_Decadence 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I've tried to refute a few but they are really piling in and they all are so vapid. I just hope that Vanessa can hold firm and strong and see through the bullshit as well as hopefully find some other YouTuber support. Karen from You're Kiddin' Right has been killing it so far and I think more than ever that women need to stick together with this kinda thing, strength in numbers.

[–]cinnaflo 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah some of the comments can be really intense, and I agree with finding more GC supporters among Youtubers. Women definitely need to stick together, but I also appreciate GC men/allies such as yourself helping out too. 😅

[–]Kai_Decadence 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Aw thanks. I try and I do want to throw my hat in the ring to at least tackle the HSTS since women do a perfect enough job striking back at AGPs. But yeah I think in times like these we all need to remain in support of each other at the end of the day and that's why I will always be supportive of women and men who go against the ideology.

[–]MarkTwainiac 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Normally, I would not make a comment on this guy's looks, but since he's such a blatant misogynist claiming that the only reason a woman might take umbrage at his LARPing is coz she's jealous of how pretty he is, I am going to make an exception and say this:

The different coloration of Lux's face compared to his neck and exposed chest stands out to me as very noticeable and jarring. With all the time and energy Lux and guys like him devote to altering their appearance via makeup, false eyelashes, painted-on brows, lip plumping and lining, advanced contouring techniques, weaves, wigs, costly and extensive surgeries, etc it's surprising that Lux never learned this basic rule of Modern-day Makeup 101 that used to be stressed to girls and women: if you're gonna slather foundation on your face, you better apply it to any part of your neck and chest that will be exposed as well - otherwise you end up with a glaring and distracting mismatch in skin tone that only draws more attention to the fact that your pretty is just a bunch of store-bought phony that's been painted on.

The different coloration of Lux's face compared to his neck and exposed chest stands out to me as very noticeable and jarring.

For some reason, I imagined metal band KISS: https://i.imgur.com/vPn6OF7.png

They were very popular in USSR. And on their live I was present, they had faces very pale, necks mildly pale, and open chests of normal skin colors. Just like this guy (but reversed, for some reason his face is darker - especially visible when he puts hands near face).

[–]MarkTwainiac 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The difference is, KISS was going for artifice and their face paint was inspired by other theatrical traditions - such as makeup worn by mimes, and the imagery of sock & buskin (the ancient symbols of comedy/tragedy, usually depicted in black & white) - as well as by the warpaint traditionally worn by males in battle in many cultures in past historical eras, and the pale face powder and dark black accents worn by aristocratic, fashionable men in France in the 17th and 18th centuries. The men in KISS weren't female impersonators, and their makeup in no way resembled the kind of makeup worn by real-life girls and women in their own era or past eras.

Also, none of the male rockers of the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s who did sport makeup that more closely resembed the kinds of makeup often worn by girls and women in everyday life as well as in movies, TV and advertising did so with the intent of being seen as female. They had no desire to pretend to be the opposite sex. They were not female impersonators, but were simply guys who had fun wearing makeup. Even Marilyn Peter Robinson - who in some of his getups could "pass" as a woman especially in still photos - never expected that when he was dressed and made-up in "feminine" mode that anyone would mistake him for a woman.

Whereas today Lux and men like him want the rest of the world to believe that by changing superficial aspects of their appearance, they have somehow magically changed sex. Guys like Lux are simply the latest in a long line of female impersonators, but unlike the female impersonators of the past, they seem to really believe their own PR and BS. They have deluded themselves into thinking that by extensively making use of today's advanced cosmetic surgeries and makeup techniques they've somehow managed to achieve verisimilitude - "the appearance of being true or real."

[–]Kai_Decadence 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh boy do I have something for you. Lux's face looks very off because he's filming himself with a smartphone app. I'm not sure if it's FaceTune or Snow but they both do the same thing AND you're able to film yourself with them. You just have to make sure you don't move around too much and you have to use a background with not many objects in it because if you do, it'll blur the objects and make it look more obvious that you're using a filter.

Even more, I did some digging and I found an unfiltered pic of this person. This is what Samantha Lux really looks like without the filter he uses in his videos and pictures It's pretty much Blaire White all over again Just another trans-identified man who discovered that they can alter their appearance for videos by taking advantage of face-altering apps.

[–]purrfect 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

Dear Lux, you paid a lot of money to hack your face and body, you use a ton of heavy make up and try your best to mimic a porn sick male's idea of a women, and all you managed to do is look "prettier", but you'll be a male till the day you die. You know it deep down, the men you manage to attract also know it deep down. You also know that, any partner that isn't gay, will leave your narcissistic ass, the moment they want a family.

Vanessa might not be "prettier". She's also not an expensive imitation. She's the real deal. Everyone knows that. Even your fans.

[–]Kai_Decadence 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Okay I'm not showing this to imply that Lux is ugly or anything but I really think it's time to dispel this lie of his supposed face surgery. THIS is what Samantha Lux really looks like What you're seeing in his videos is the use of a face filter, specifically from a smartphone app like FaceTune and Snow, these apps can reshape and smoothen out your facial features and you're also able to record yourself with them as well. That is what Lux does, he's pretty much doing what Blaire White does, heavily altering his face. Here's Blaire White unfiltered if you haven't seen what he looks like when not using the face apps.. And for a bonus, here's Natalie/Contrapoints without the fancy lighting.

Again, I'm not saying that these men are ugly or anything but it's time to expose the truth about what they actually look like.

[–]MarkTwainiac 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (7 children)

Kai, thanks for those pictures. BTW, do you have the dates when they were taken? I thought Blaire White had gotten facial feminization surgery, and assumed Lux and Contra did too.

Also, can these filters work on us older ordinary women to make us look younger and more like the Kewpie doll, bobble-head, Betty Boop, Kardashian stereotypes that guys like Lux, Blaire and Contra are aping? I've often thought of making some videos, but have decided against it coz the way I look at my present age I'd be seen as not sufficiently cartoonishly "feminine" to be taken as a "valid" woman by these misogynistic young men and all the sexists who support them.

[–]Kai_Decadence 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

So I'm not sure about Lux's but I highly doubt he looks much different. As far as I'm aware, he just had been taking hormones and had his penis inverted. That picture of Blaire White, that was taken in August of 2018 when he was featured on EthanIsSupreme's Instagram. Here's the full video. Blaire had FFS in August of 2017, a year before that video. All he had done was a nose job that made his bridge too thin -this photo is from Vidcon 2018 - and he had his hairline lowered. But as you can see, nothing much of his face changed at all, the biological male face is still intact. Here's a bonus of what his body actually looks like without the fake hip pads as well. The only thing that Blaire has done is change up his makeup style and rely on a face filter from the phone app to get the look he has in his videos but whenever he is featured on a different person's YouTube channel who is not friends with him or someone takes a picture of him when out in public without his knowledge is when you see what he truly looks like which is nothing like what he looks like in his videos.

For Contrapoints, I'm not sure when he took that photo though I know it had to have been after his FFS because the setup of his room looks like it did when he had his hairstyle like that. I don't think Contrapoints actually uses a face filter when doing his videos, he mostly only uses the face filtering for his Instagram pictures. In his videos, he really just uses fancy artistic lighting and makeup to make himself look the way he does in his videos but once the lights and makeup is off, THAT is what he actually looks like.

As for whether or not these apps work on older women, I'm not actually sure but I'm sure they could work. If you have a smartphone, download the app called "SNOW" and play around with the features and I'm sure you'll be able to tweak things but you'll also see why guys like Blaire and Samanatha rely so heavily on it when making videos or taking pictures.

[–]MarkTwainiac 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Thanks Kai! Those photos and videos are fascinating. Scarily, Blaire's nose looks too much like Michael Jackson's in the Vidcon photo. Also, that picture of Blaire from behind is amazing. The size and shape of the shoulders compared to the size and shape of the hips are a dead giveaway that he's a guy.

Once I saw a video of Blaire wearing really tight white pants through which a very pronounced "camel toe" was visible in Blaire's crotch. That led me to look into all the underwear designed for these guys to give the impression that they have vulvas. I found, and still find, the idea of Blaire and other guys wearing such underwear to be extremely offensive. These boys and men display such a strange, sickening combination of disrespect for females and our bodies while at the same time they fetishize, covet, appropriate and caricature our bodies and want to control, eliminate and replace us.

Thanks for the tips on the filters. I will probably pass on the advice, though. I've never taken a cellphone or smart device "selfie" of any kind, nor have I ever posted a photo of myself online - and I think it's probably best for my mental health if I don't start now. If cellphones with cameras, social media and all this easy-to-obtain and simple-to-use photo filtering technology had been available when I was younger, I think it might have messed me up in a lot of ways.

[–]Kai_Decadence 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Right, I thought the same when I saw that photo of Blaire taken by one of his fans at the vidcon meetup and this was back when I was still drinking the Trans Kool-Aids and I was totally flabbergasted at what I was seeing since I was too used how he looked in his videos and didn't realize he was using a phone app at the time. He has a serious case of Michael Jackson nose after that nose job.

And yeah I just had to share that picture of Blaire's actual body because I don't think many people realize just what his body actually looks like and that was taken in 2020 too so it's recent. And the funny thing is even when he wears hip pads, it's so obvious that his "curves" are not real. I mean look at this photoshoot he did back in 2018, does that look like a normal figure?

But the photo that really solidified Blaire's trickery for me personally was this photo someone took of him at 2018's Vidcon, I was super shocked when I saw it at the time and it showed me not to believe everything you see on camera.. The makeup photos/video he did on EthanIsSupreme's Instagram was the final nail since it pretty much exposed how Blaire still looks like a male (because of course he does, he is one)

That's fair. I was more or less just trying to say that the face filtering is so easy to do with these apps. There's a feature for everything, Jaw structure, eye bags, nose reshaping, neck length, cheekbones, even head size and it's all on a slider option so it's insanely easy to do. And yeah it can definitely not be good for people's self esteem if they use it too much. I can admit that when I discovered the power of these apps, I got a little hooked seeing all the nifty features though I just remember that these apps are not reality.

[–]MarkTwainiac 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Wow, that picture of Blaire with the hip pads is so offensive. Women, including the one who gave birth to Blaire, develop wide hips coz of our reproductive role - and the shape of our hips causes many women distress and diminished self-esteem. When I was a young woman, I went through a stage when I saw my hips as so hideously wide that I feared I wouldn't be able to walk through doorways and I made a habit of going through them sideways. In reality, my hips were completely normal in size, of course. But having a distorted body image like that was seen as entirely normal for females, and something we should all just suck up. There was no outpouring of sympathy for girls and women with "negative body image" or "body dysmorphia" coz "negative body image" was assumed to be commonplace amongst females and therefore trivial - and the term and diagnosis "body dysmorphia" hadn't been invented yet.

I feel for Blaire's mother - and the other women who've given birth to and raised sons who've turned out to be misogynistic female impersonators, invaders of female spaces, appropriators of all things related to our sex, and destroyers of girls and women's rights.

Your description of these "face tune" apps makes me really curious, if only from a research perspective. It all sounds like being on an LSD or ketamine trip, only one designed to feed narcissism and foster insecurity rather than to open "the doors of perception" and expand horizons. I'm glad you're wary of these apps. None of this stuff seems good for people's self-esteem.

As always, I've enjoyed our interactions on this thread as on others. I've learned a lot from you, and you've caused me to (re)think about some issues I haven't thought about for a long while.

[–]Kai_Decadence 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Right because at the end of the day, it's just a porno-fueled fetish for these men larping as women. It's about looking for lack of better word, "fuckable" because to them, that is what a woman's lot in life is about. I just wish more women would see this for what it truly is and stop being so complacent in their erasure.

I think that Blaire's mom is supportive of him but I honestly feel like deep down she knows that he's not her "daughter".

And you're very welcome, I'm glad you got some new info from our discussion when it comes to FaceTune and other similar face altering apps.

[–]MarkTwainiac 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Even if Blaire's mom is outwardly supportive, I imagine she's conflicted. Even parents who dearly love our children usually aren't so blinded by our love that we can't see our offspring and their behavior in a realistic light. Lots of mothers are fully aware of their adult children's character flaws and it's dawned on many that some of the children we once doted on and still love very much have in adulthood turned out to be selfish dicks in many respects.

[–]Kai_Decadence 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Again you're probably right. It's hard to really say since he hardly talks about his mom. The only thing I remember about what he said about his parents was that his dad never accepted him even before he transed out and that it took his mom awhile to come around to his t"identity".
