“You’re not a woman – you need a fanny to be a woman.” The adults, who are male and self-identify as women, said they took offense at the comment.

And acted just like a pissed off group of drunk men.

I swear groups of drunk men are the most terrifying thing on earth

I'm not at all surprised that alcohol was involved. Beating up someone smaller than you for saying something offensive is not an honorable or reasonable decision, and if these adults had acted with clear heads and better judgment, they may not have had to plead guilty to violent disorder.

These people are mentally ill. Their first impulse when offended is often violence or violent fantasies.

I disagree. They're violent drunk aholes. Not mentally ill.

These guys in particular were drunk, yes, but T's in general tend to react with violence or threats of to any perceived slight, even when not inebriated. That is indicative of some form of mental illness, and who can deny that ? They think they are the opposite sex and have convinced themselves that men can have periods and get pregnant and that the female penis is a legitimate thing. Mentally ill.

Judge:

“I accept that had it not been for the alleged victim in this case there probably wouldn’t have been an incident. The four of you then were subjected to extremely offensive transphobic and racial abuse. Had it not been for that there would have been no violent disorder. 1. However that does not excuse what you did, you went far too far in your reactions, but of course transphobic issues are particularly sensitive. It is a sign that the so-called victim realised how wrong he was by refusing to cooperate and not make any statement. I do not in any way condone your behaviour but I accept that what happened to you at the beginning of the incident was entirely wrong and people like you should not be subject to that abuse in the public domain or anywhere. You are being punished for your overreaction to someone who has escaped punishment altogether.“2

(Formatting mine)

1- know-it-all, woke judge knows for a fact these four would never have been violent in any other situation. Rigghht...

2- escaped punishment? Dude was beaten up! Victim blaming. Precedent setting?

Yeah, the judge's treatment of these thugs illustrates that instead of being marginalized, oppressed and subjected to constant discrimination and violence, TIMs are given a free pass to behave as badly as they want and then are allowed to get off scot free whilst other men feel sorry for them & offer excuses for their inexcusably violent, knee-jerk behavior.

The "extremely offensive transphobic and racial abuse" these TIMs experienced, while undoubtedly unpleasant, pales next to the sort of abuse girls and women get all the time simply for being female and having certain racial, ethnic & other physical or cultural characteristics. The insulting remarks made by the teenager to these men seems "extremely offensive" to the judge & the violent yobs the words were directed at coz they are all men who are accustomed to being top dog and are used to being able to move about the world without constantly - or ever -being accosted, harassed or insulted.

If I didn't know where this quote came from, I would have said this is satire. The judge's comment reads like a middle school level essay. One of those where kids have to write down pros and cons about subjects they know, or care, very little about.

Sometimes, I despair thinking about the quality of people in high positions.

I barely heard about this anywhere outside of GC spots. I honestly hope that young man is recovering from his wounds with a supportive family.

The GC crowd are the last people left on the left for whom I have any respect. How else would we hear about events such as these? It's sad that it's even necessary to report on things like this, though.

What has become of England? Seriously, they used to be cool. There was a time when all things from England were considered chic and in vogue, but those days have passed and now the country seems to be slouching towards totalitarianism and dragging the rest of the western world down with it.

You see them threaten violence online constantly so it's no wonder they actually live out these gross fantasies they talk about in real life. Kill terfs? Yeah they would if they got a chance. Rape JK? Yeah they wish. They act like the worst type of man but don't realize what they are? They are so violent because of their shame.. Same thing as a closeted homosexual, those good old boys that don't want you to know so they beat up the less masculine guys and call them slurs.

Transwomen can never be female so they want to destroy them or those who point out they are, in fact, males.

Yes, it's shame. And narcissistic rage. "Shame and Narcissistic Rage in Autogynephilic Transsexualism" by AGP TIM Anne Lawrence, MD can be found here: http://www.annelawrence.com/shame_&_narcissistic_rage.pdf

The judge might as well have joined these violent het male scumbags in the attack. Seriously, I hate these violent bigoted monsters. It's not bigotry to hate a bigot. That's why The Jeffersons holds up better than All in the Family and Maude holds up better than either of them.

What's so bad about All in the Family? Not that I watched it that much, but my impression was that you weren't necessarily supposed to like Archie, but he was never violent. There's always going to be people in the world with opinions we don't like, but we can't beat the shit of out of them and claim to live in a civilized society.

The older I got, the more life experience I had, and the more research I did, the more I realized that it was nothing more than a vehicle to project both Norman Lear's father's prejudice against anyone nonwhite and the classism of the British (as it was based on a UK sitcom called Till Death Us Do Part) onto the American working class. Lear is also an enabler of the tr-nscult with a flop soap opera from 1977 called All that Glitters and with at least one episode of the reboot of One Day at a Time. He is a neoliberal sellout like all the others in Hollywood. And what's worse, he gave XXX Tony Danza XXX a show. He's why "cancel culture" is a thing. I have heard criticism of him from blacks and whites, conservatives and liberals, along with accusations of racism, yet they're like teflon to him in a way they aren't to, say, XXX Walt Disney XXX.
