I think my family is very liberal but if one of the women started parading through the streets in skimpy bikinis for tiktok videos the rest of them would be holding an intervention for her.

One of the many elephants in the trans movement. Yes, there are women who dress and act this way - and they're judged and shamed for it by most society, would be considered low class, white trash, or w/e else. Yet I often see men dressing like this, and everyone just gushes over how brave and beautiful they are. eyeroll

When women do it, they're whores. When men do it, they're empowered.

But I thought a tenet of today's lib "feminism" (fauxminism) is that all sex work, including prostitution, is empowering for women. In other words, women (and girls) who some would describe as "whores" are supposedly empowered by definition. In fact, according to the lib fem stance, they're the most "empowered" women of all.

One thing is a woman engaging in sex work. "Empowering" and acceptable. Another thing is a "normal" woman who's just slutty. Not acceptable. I think this is the line of reasoning.
