I don't really believe that a man who has had no hormones at all and no surgery (breasts?) or vocal changes can completely pass as a cis woman post-puberty, no matter how petite their body was.

I agree. Sound like a made-up story.

definitely agree on the vocal changes, I hadn't thought of that. That also is usually the most clockable thing to me. In addition, this person transitioned four years ago at 27 and nothing tipped the other dude off? this person's lived most of his life as a male.

this person's lived most of his life as a male.

Actually, he's lived all his life as a male.

you're right. My point was that for the vast majority of his life he hasn't acted like what he percieved a woman to be. apologies for the imprecise/wrong language

No need for apologies. It's just that using the "live as the opposite sex" lingo is just buying into gender ideology. A male who lives 24/7 pretending to be female is still doing something only a male can do. None of us can "live as" something we are not and never can be.

It can happen. My mother has a friend who isn't even trying to pass, he's just an extremely effeminate gay man, but he gets mistaken for a woman. Not for very long of course but if he tried to he could probably pass for female.

All the top-voted comments I see say the TIM is in the wrong for trying to hoodwink and deceive the man he's about to marry.
