I have not bothered to see it yet, I am curious to see other's responses as well.

My sibling (male) really enjoyed it for the aesthetics, but didn't really like the characters or the story. I've heard some people compare it as this newer generations' Skins, and I felt OFFENDED. How dare you compare anything else to Skins??? (I would suppose the same would go for Degrassi, if you had grown up with that instead).

I definitely get that vibe of writers stalking Twitter and Tumblr grounds for high school drama to put into their show, but that coupled with the MTF has put me off from watching it at this point.

I would rather watch HBO's Watchman and admire Regina King's acting.

I feel like Euphoria would probably be a show that I would have enjoyed 15 or 10 years ago, when I was way less (gender) critical. - And as you mentioned Skins ... I really liked that show (though I saw only the first generation). And I probably I was not in the key demographic when I watched it. But Skins felt really "real" to me, while everything else about teenagers and young adults that I came across later just was insufferable. But I think I just can't relate to that age group and show about their "problems" any more.

Also ... TIM among the cast is the ultimate "Nah, I won't waste my time with that".

A teenaged Tim living his "best life" by hooking up with brutal middle aged men on Grindr.
