"This subreddit was created to help women learn about the simple, safe, easy and highly beneficial process of growing a larger clit."

At least it says women? /s

I can only see post titles and that is really sick. Back alley testosterone, "pumping" ????? This is so wrong.

What's so great about "growing your clit"? How does it affect sensitivity? The clitoris is densely packed with nerve endings. The same amount of nerve endings in a larger space would seem to translate into a loss in sensitivity.

What on earth is supposed to be the benefit(s) of having a larger clit? Isn't one of the reasons the clit is amazing is its economy of scale?

My impression is that when these people talk about a larger clit, they seem to only mean the visible part, which truly is the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. Or are these people talking about the whole structure?

Larger doesn't necessarily mean better. The only people who think it does have limited intelligence.

From what I've read: Yes, they only mean the visible part, because for many women the clit is tiny and while they can experience pleasure, the "handling" is limited. When the visible part gets enlarged access with hand and tongue is much easier.

In the extreme case of a big enlargement it can be "stroked" and even sucked on, comparable to a penis, these are entirely new feelings that women otherwise wouldn't feel.

I don't think this is per se bad as, as you said, the clit in the body is huge (bigger than a lot of penises) and healthy measures would only lead to a little bit more of it being outside the body.

What's problematic is that TiFs use this to "transition" and pretend they have a "penis" down there.

In the extreme case of a big enlargement it can be "stroked" and even sucked on, comparable to a penis, these are entirely new feelings that women otherwise wouldn't feel.

Are you saying that without artificial enlargement, clits can't be stroked or sucked on?

Why is the clit being regarded as "comparable to a penis" a good thing?

On whose experience are you basing the claim that "these are entirely new feelings that women otherwise wouldn't feel"? Where are the surveys and studies that document women's experience prior to this new penis-imitation trend?

Seems a whole lot of projection and assumptions are involved here.

healthy measures would only lead to a little bit more of it being outside the body.

How is is that a body part can be outside the body? Body parts that are visible to the eye are not outside the body.

That is pretty weird explanations there, because all those things can be easily done with normal sized clit. So the only thing they want is to "make it more like a penis", which is so weird fetish to have - especially with such risks for health.

From the sidebar:

Now during sex my clit gets stimulated in multiple ways: on the underside, and by being pulled-in during penetration. When there is more clit, there is more to be pleasured! - u/theeuroslut

This - and what's happened to reddit and is happening to/on social media more generally - reminds me of stoned convos I used to have with friends in college/uni in the 1970s, when high as kites we'd try to imagine the future when everyone had computers that were all hooked up in a universal network and all information and knowledge was digitized and easily accessible to all.

One friend would wax poetic about how wonderful and democratizing it would be because everyone on earth could obtain a solid education about any subject in their own homes by essentially just turning on a TV equivalent and paying attention.

Another said she thought that for every person who used the new tech to obtain an education, there would be ten thousand who'd use it only for shopping and consumerism.

But another predicted that both previous forecasts were way too optimistic. What the new technology would usher in, this person said, was the spread of porn, fetishism and depravity.

Friend 3 was right on the money. You can take pretty much any new technology, and humans will do one or more of three things with it : try to weaponize it in some way, make money from it, or use it to get off.

They're at least using the right lingo (no TRA speak like "clitorised bodies" rolls eyes) but one of the comments (likely male) was convincing an OP that "large clits are so hot right now" or some shit? And there's a bunch of posts where women OP are sharing that they're doing this in secret without telling their doctors. It sounds like grooming for another sick kink that women didn't need, just with body-altering medicine this time. This is really worrying.

Edit: on their wiki/about:

Fetlife is a fetish site isn't it?

Under using androgens/T:

The early signs of androgen side effects (overdose) in females are: frequent or increased sexual thoughts, increased libido, oily skin, increased pubic hair growth often described as “bushy”, voice change to a husky or deeper pitch, and hair growth on the upper lip. These are early warning signs which you should heed. Some tolerate these effects and just accept them. The physical effects of voice change and hair growth are permanent. Further masculinizing effects are much more severe and are more typical of what an FTM transsexual experiences.

The fuck, they're not even hiding it. This ISN'T as safe as they claim it to be. It's fucking hormonal russian roulette.

Thank you. For background, I stumbled upon it while in r/latebloomerlesbians, which I will never stop overanalyzing. Whenever an OP's post sets off alarm bells in me about them not being a lesbian but trying to convince themselves and everyone else they're one, I quickly check their profile to see if I can get an explanation for what's going on. I found this from checking the recent post history of a woman whose r/LBL post was giving off the red flags of being a fetishist not a lesbian. Among other red flag posts within the last few days including where she admitted attraction to men (so lesbian!) I saw a post from her in the r/GrowYourClit subreddit.

I clicked and didn't have a lot of time to hang around, but everything I opened up was setting off major alarm bells. I noticed the posts about women secretly taking bootleg testosterone and hiding it from doctors. I also noticed there are over 12.5K subscribers so that's approaching the level of r/LGBDroptheT and r/truelesbians before they got banned this summer. So this isn't a tiny niche. I also looked quickly into the history of the subreddit to figure out where it all fits in relation to the gender trend.

It was founded just a year ago in November 2019: https://subredditstats.com/r/growyourclit

And by user overlap: https://subredditstats.com/subreddit-user-overlaps/growyourclit

So yes, it's a fetish thing with overlap with genderism based on most frequently used words, top submissions, user overlap, etc. Various sex/fetish subreddits + r/trans and r/lgbt are among the top in user overlap. As if we needed more evidence that r/lgbt was overtaken by children and fetishists and has nothing to do with gay people. It also seems like this is being used by women who are are trying to appear "non-binary." Interestingly most users seem to be calling themselves women, but topical cream is one way that a lot of FtM take their exogenous T. So why does that make the former women and the latter men?

12.5K+ subscribers? Holy shit that's terrifying

Oh great. Another bunch of women using testosterone without telling us (GPs). Sigh

[–][deleted] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

This was a place I found when I was trans identified. My desire to transition was partly for AAP fetish reasons, i.e I REALLY wanted a dick. Some of the ftm strap on prosthetics have a little hole in them you can insert your clit into, but only if it's big enough. It gives the wearer a chance to be stimulated while also using a "penis" for sex or masturbating.

As someone said above, if it's big enough you can stroke it or a partner can suck it, etc. Yes you can do that with normal sized ones but some women have very small clits, and you don't really get the dragging, frictiony sensation when it's rubbed unless it has a bit of length. Thankfully I never started taking hormones, but I was very close to using a topical cream only on my clit on enlarge it.

Thank you for sharing your story. AAP = Autoandrophilia? Have you posted your story about that anywhere? How did you break free from AAP and trans-identification? I’m very curious because there is so little information out there about it, someone (not really lesbian) posted in s/lesbians recently and a lot of what she said made me think of autoandrophilia. And someone was telling me in this very space just the other day that only men can have fetishes and paraphilias. Female sexuality just seems so under-studied.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Yes that's right. And I replied to that person saying women can and do get paraphilias, though I didn't mention myself specifically. I've gone into other aspects of why I wanted to transition, but didn't delve too far into the AAP side of it.

Broke free from the trans cult because nothing they said made a bit of sense. Even in the throes of dysphoria and coming out to my friends so much of what they said just didn't add up and I always had doubts. Realizing I'm a woman because I'm female and none of the extra stuff mattered, not my hobbies, clothing, sexuality, etc, was the breaking point.

TMI ahead

AAP is still there. It's been there since around the time I hit puberty. Over the last few years I've tried to stay inside my female body when masturbating to de-program in a sense. It had gotten to a point where I physically couldn't get off unless I imagined I had a penis that was being stimulated somehow.

However, I was never interested in being a gay guy. This is why I disagree with Blanchard's bullshit "oh uh, I guess AAP could be real in theory but it's only present in women with autohomoeroticism." When I imagine myself as a man I imagine that I'm a straight man. I made up my mind that if I transitioned I'd be happy as a straight guy. I had always felt that if I were born a man I'd be straight, despite being bisexual in reality.

I agree female sexuality is very under studied. I can't tell you how many times I've read that female sexuality is this flowers and pink and and 'women don't care as much about looks. Female libido isn't aggressive. Female sexuality is about being desired instead of desiring, a passive thing, devoid of any specific niche kinks. If a woman has kinks that means she's been abused, etc.' So I'm sitting there like ok I guess my sexuality is too gross, libido too high for me to be a woman. Thanks. Noted

[–]yousaythosethings[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Thank you for sharing. For your AAP, do you want to get rid of it, or just be able to manage it, perhaps tap into it only at will so that it's not really a paraphilia? I think Blanchard's theories are a great starting point, but they do not cover every situation. I also recall seeing a guy on YouTube talk about his AGP and he was male-attracted, so that helped me understand that there are nuances.

I didn't see your response to that female paraphilia-denier so I went back and read it. She was dismissive of the idea that I came across an example of a woman with a paraphilia and potential AAP when I barely scratched the surface and would have just directed her to see the posts herself because it's nothing I can summarize easily. She and some others there are clearly misandristic ideologues and to maintain their belief in their ideology, they must be dismissive of women and female sexuality in the process. Of course she didn't respond to you. That's very sad, feels like a betrayal, and seems flat-out contradictory to the idea of being gender critical. Yet because I am a lesbian and you are a bisexual woman, you and I know better because we are capable of feeling sexual desire between two female bodies. To dismiss that women can have paraphilias is to be dismissive of female sexuality in general. I think it goes hand and hand with also being dismissive of same-sex attraction between women. Not that that's a paraphilia, but so many radfem types thinking they can just play lesbians without needing to have sexual desire for women. And don't get me started on that "female sexuality is about being desired instead of desiring" bullshit. That attitude is part of the reason why it took me so long to accept that I was a lesbian. I was dismissing my own desires as not real and thought I had to settle for being desired.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No problem! I think if I could get to a point where it's manageable I'd be okay with that. It isn't as bad as it used to be so I'm grateful for that. I'll probably go see about that poster on s/lesbians because her story sounds really interesting.

To dismiss that women can have paraphilias is to be dismissive of female sexuality in general.

Exactly. And I agree it seems counter to the idea of being GC. "Women can't have paraphilias" can be just as damaging as "Women can't do math." Categorizing someone as a man or woman based on anything other than their sex seems like feeding into stereotypes. Female sexuality is something people would rather make assumptions about than actually study, and until female sexuality is studied as extensively as male sexuality any data on women and paraphilias will be lacking. When I tried to find info on AAP I didn't even know what it was called. I had to go down a very deep reddit rabbit hole to find other women with this specific kink. Thankfully it wasn't a trans cult space, just normal women talking about something they didn't know how to share anywhere else. That thread is where I finally learned that this was a paraphilia and that it had a name.

Here is the thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/sex/comments/188e0l/i_always_get_off_to_the_thought_of_having_a_penis/

There are straight women there, there are men admitting their AGP, there's a lesbian there who claims to have AAP as well. It was very eye opening.

Dismissiveness of attraction between women (and a shallow understanding of female sexuality in general) is something I saw on one of these sites. It may have been on reddit before GC and DropTheT got nuked. But there was a woman there who was pointing out that a lot of TiMs will say 'you don't have to touch me at all, so my dick shouldn't be an issue.' Because these men see female sexuality as passive, a wish to be desired. They don't realize that women want to be active participants in sex with their partners. Lying there being pleasured and fawned over is nice, but for me I would hate that. I'm sure that would get old for many women. She said she actively desires vagina, and that's why a trans woman will not satisfy her. That really hit home for me having always seen people claim that female sexuality is passive. I can't imagine how frustrating that must have been as a lesbian.

Long story short the grow your clit space is pretty common for TiFs who want dicks, people who are turned on by big clits, people into extreme body mods, etc.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The idea that only men have paraphilias seems to be from two sources: clinical populations who typically got a criminal referral (surprise, it's all men) and sexologist John Money. That line has been parroted throughout sex research. However, if spend any time in say, the pansexual (meaning not specifically geared towards any one orientation, as opposed to the gay leather community, for instance) BDSM community, you will wonder exactly how sex research still believes that. I think a few of them are waking up. Who, exactly, do they think all these heterosexual men are doing BDSM with? HMMMMMMM? The mind boggles.
