Yeah, I'm never donating my organs. I want a natural burial and to turn into a tree.

HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. THESE PEOPLE ARE SERIOUS. Soon they'll be advertising the annual Pride Weekend Organ Swap. You just know they're looking for a way to swap genitals as well. This Frankenstein shit has to be outlawed. If my tax dollars go to this horseshit in the form of gov't run healthcare I'm going to lose my damn mind.

This is never going to be the future. Think about HRT for women rather than men - it alleviates some of the symptoms of menopause, but not within side effects. And most importantly - it does not allow them to keep their fertility. So even though they have all the necessary female organs, structures, genes still etc - we have not yet worked out a way to administer female hormones to just keep it going! Then I’m supposed to believe that you could transplant that uterus into a male body and somehow make it work with HRT? How would their cells contain any instructions on how to make a placenta?! How would their bodies know how to respond to the babies demands for various nutrients from them through this system? How would these babies signal that they’re ready to be born? This whole debacle just shows how little people think of what being a woman means. We are not just men pumped full of HRT with a uterus sack inside us. The systems needed to create and sustain life are written into our genes. You either make small or large gametes and no amount of surgical tinkering or genetic mishap is going to change that.

I doubt it will in my lifetime but if it gets to the point where doctors are actually doing uterus and ovary transplants I'm changing my organ donor status. I believe the world is overpopulated and it is unethical to bring more children into it and I will not be part of another person having children using my organs. Not to mention the effects on the baby of all the artificial hormones and unnatural environment.

I fear for poor women especially in less developed countries. This is chilling
