Yes though trans women would appreciate it if people would not refer to us as "males"

"Please deny biological reality for me"

Nearly all humans have mammary glands. Estrogen causes them to enlarge and develop along with surrounding tissue into the structures we call boobies. Trans women often are prescribed estrogen and are not an exception to this process.

"into the structures we call boobies"

psst, males don't have mature mammary glands

Fuck. Now I want to be able to do this. Mostly for the power move. Oh. I don’t want children. I’ll breast feed a willing adult just to flex on the T*RFs.

Yup. Totally not a fetish, guys! What, you say breastfeeding is to feed an infant, not to VaLiDaTe me and piss people off? Nonsense! /s

And also it's not too rich in nutrients. I've seen transwomen complaining about producing clear liquid with bitter taste

I don't even wanna know how they know what it tastes like 🤢

Males can lactate if on certain drugs. Doesn't mean that the product is adequate "to feed" an infant. Mother's breast milk contains significant factors that are unlikely to be present in anyone else's. The baby's welfare is paramount, is it not?

I'll put this in the bluntest way possible: I don't care what you think. Surprisingly enough I don't want to indulge someone who isn't going to respect my existence or the existence of others like me. Bother someone else who's willing to listen to your thinly veiled bigotry.

Wow, what a surprise! The trans furry with "ACAB." in their display name cares more about trans-women's validation than the welfare of children, and accuses concerned women of bigotry and concern-trolling!

It made me so happy to realize the other day that I will soon be able to breastfeed. Not that I will (my child is all grown up) but just that I can.

Disturbing to know that one of the guys in this thread is a father…

Your language is not inclusive at all it's chestfeeding

Can't tell if this is facetious or not

And trans men are still men if they decide to breastfeed their kids!

Well, we can at least agree that whether human females choose to breastfeed or not makes no difference in the matter of whether or not they are men…

Trans women can and do lactate. This isn't news to anyone but the ignorant.

The issue at hand isn't whether or not they can lactate, the issue is whether or not they can properly feed an infant the nutrition it needs.

We have the same hormones as cis women

Lmfao, keep telling yourself that.

[Edited to add "mature" before "mammary glands"; I stand corrected, turns out men do have rudimentary mammary glands]

Great post! One quibble:

psst, males don't have mammary glands

Males do have basic mammary glands. But whereas female mammary glands mature and go through considerable changes during female puberty, male mammary glands remain rudimentary.

If men could breastfeed children, I'd be all for it, as it would mean the whole job wouldn't be on women's shoulders - or, rather, chests. I know a number of men who would've loved to breastfeed their children, not coz they're creepy fetishists but coz they are loving, doting fathers who were really head over heels over their babies. A number of these men I know personally are medical doctors or work in health-related sciences. If men could sustain life by breastfeeding, the guys I know would've been crowing and doing it.

Disturbing indeed. I don't even want to imagine what it's like to have a father like this 🤢

Finger crossed the child mentioned in your quote isn't a daughter; it'd be deeply traumatic to see my own father fetishizing my experience as a woman.

Wait, does she/he has a prolactinoma or something? That's bloody dangerous. Female sex hormones shouldn't increase your prolactine levels. If this trans person is biologically male, and it's lactating, s/he should go have an MRI. It could be a brain tumor. I'm serious. This is crazy.
