Oh, yeah, I forgot how nice it'd be without the "what about me-ism/#notallmen". More men may be killed than women, but the men are more likely killed outright, not all raped, tortured like the women! And ffs, so tired of women's experiences being denied.

God awful cases mentioned on that page, my heart breaks for those women, what they were made to experience. Women remember, empathize. This is why this question resonates.

So far in 2020, 44 women have been killed, along with 21 children and 112 men. Of those deaths, 199 suspects are male and just 26 are female.

Many of those female killers will be abuse victims killing abusive male partners or relatives. Some would have been post partum infanticides.

Interviews with 18 women prisoners in Missouri who were convicted of killing their male partners found that 16 had been physically abused by their partners and only 5 were permitted to present evidence of their physical abuse during their trials. Half the women received life sentences with no possibility of parole or no possibility of parole for 50 years. To ensure justice for battered women who kill in self-defense, social workers are encouraged to learn more about this population and to engage in advocacy on behalf of these women.

If you want a real guide as to the difference in violence: men are 38 X more likely to kill another man as a woman is to kill a woman, and that's in America where guns make it way easier.

It's way higher in countries like the UK.

Most of the men killed were killed in relation to crime and gang violence, which could be unsympathetically called 'winning stupid prizes' in most cases.

This would probably work as a stand alone post...

I'd love the Stat for that as far as m men killing men and women killing women go!

Taken from FBI homicide data.

I used the same sex comparison because it eliminates the size difference that could skew it.

IF men weren't around for 24 hours, I would pretend that Joe biden hadn't assaulted Tara.
