I hope so too, that at least the craziest parts will fizzle out with time. It was really amusing to see honestly. Being in the trans cult so long and watching them constantly use this tactic. They'll say something then as soon as they're called out on their bullshit it's "no one is saying that." They did it with gaslighting lesbians into sleeping with trans women - "You're transphobic if you won't try dick (2 secs later) no one is saying you can't have a genital preference." They did it with the biological sex thing - "Cis women are transphobic bringing up their biological functions (2 secs later) no one is denying biological sex, we're just saying gender is different."

But gender identity is the backbone of all things trans. They even threw out the dysphoria requirement and said if you "feel" male or female and gravitate toward a certain set of stereotypes then you are, whether you're dysphoric or not. If they go back on this, which they've started to because people have realized almost no one "feels" male or female, then this house of cards is bound to fall.
