I think it’s so odd that trans people and tras are even on that sub when Most of them seem to be so anti Rowling. It’s odd that they are unable to let go of her fandom even while they condemn her. Also think it’s hilarious that people in the comments think that radfems and trans people want “basically the same things”.

Yeah, the users Bluevenor and hexomer in particular always seem to post about how awful and transphobic she is. At least they always get downvoted.

I absolutely love how Bluevenor says that “women’s and LGBT rights should never be up for discussion.” So close to getting it, yet so far. The T is bringing women’s rights up for discussion. And human rights can’t conflict by nature. So “trans rights” the way these people see them don’t exist.

This quote is from an outraged mod of r/JKRowling

"There is a very vocal group on this sub, that we as mods are concerned about, as this group shares a lot of the same thoughts of now banned community, r/Gendercritical, and many people have taken to this platform to continue this discussion, but center it around Rowling. The Mod team will not stand for it. We do not want this community banned, we do not want to become a Rowling-centric Gender Critical."

My translation:

Those awful, awful, BANNED Gender Criticals have arrived on our sub to SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS and stink up the place with their rational ideas on sex versus gender - the NERVE!

Hey, mods of r/JKRowling - J.K. Rowling is gender critical, so are you going to ban her from her own sub?

Why are people who disagree with her admining a sub dedicated to her? It makes no sense. Everything they said about “those awful, awful, banned GC’s” applies to her as well and yet they want her page to not get banned. Super odd to silence the views of the person the sub is dedicated to discussing. I’m sure there’s a Harry Potter sub (or several), why wouldn’t they just go there instead of specifically a JK Rowling sub?

Is there any way to ask them?

Not without getting banned lol

I never posted on r/GC because I didn't want to create a REDDIT account, but now I'm thinking of doing it just to troll these cowards.

Same with Twitter - the British GC feminist Twitter squad really turned the tide in the UK, so I'm going to get a Twitter account to troll the gendxr speshals and all the corporations, politicians and celebrities who back them.

CLARIFICATION: "those awful, awful banned GCs" was from me, not the r/JKRowling mods - sorry for the misunderstanding.

The section in quotes of my post is what the r/JKRowling mods actually said - and it was bad enough.

Didnt reddit ban the jkr sub that supported her?

[–]ekitten[S] 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

r/JoanneRowling was banned for "creating or repurposing a sub to reconstitute or serve the same objective as a previously banned or quarantined subreddit".

I don't visit Reddit since they banned r/GC so don't know.

Talking if Reddit, a lot of responses to that transwomen in California prisons post got removed. Can't have the public disagreeing with the narrative.

I am just hoping that the California prison bill peak trans a lot of Americans. I saw some Far Right Outrage Twitter posting the news and the responses were all negative.

I wonder if any Hollywood people have posted in support of California's prison bill? After all, the entertainment industry, especially in the US and UK, have been pushing the trans narrative for years now. Are they going to celebrate now that the propaganda they pushed so cannily, Orange Is The New Black, has become reality in their home state?

"Orange Is the New Black" could help save trans inmate lives: Prisons continue to fail women like Sophia (from June 2016) https://www.salon.com/2016/06/20/orange_is_the_new_black_could_help_save_trans_inmate_lives_as_prisons_continue_to_fail_women_like_sophia/

peak trans a lot of Americans

I think the narrative that "transwomen offend like women and that cis male crims won't abuse the system" won't last a year. The crime stats will start filtering through to the public sooner or later.

I forsee a legal challenge in the offing based on the Geneva convention laws about the right to single sex (not single gender) incarceration.

There's also the issue that most of the victims of these men in prisons will be black. That really won't go down well in the current climate.

WoLF's Twitter had something on options to get the California men in women's prison law overturned, but, if I remember correctly, it wasn't hopeful. I wish I had saved it.

The big issue in the US is that these court cases cost money, and the only organizations willing to fight them are conservative. Women's organizations like the National Organization for Women, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, NARAL, etc., have literally been bought by donations from Trans, Inc.

That's why WoLF has been working with conservative groups - because they're the only ones who will work with feminists.

When I called one California assembly member about this bill (the men in women's prisons), the staffer ran off a list of liberal organizations that supported it. Again, Trans, Inc. has bought out the media, but also the ACLU and so many other organizations that might previously have raised a stink about this horrendous violation of women's human rights.

There is a sub if you hate JKRowling, though. That was given by the mods if you want to talk politics. No, we can’t have respectful feminist subs to discuss feminist topics, but you can post your death threats to JK on a dedicated sub. Not misogynistic at ALL.
