This criticism of Redmayne's performance as a TiM in that DANISH GIRL movie, is just too much fun:

He thought that throwing JKR under the bus would be enough to save himself from the mob when they came for him because he had played a trans woman in 'The Danish Girl', but he was wrong. I lose all respect for those who sacrifice others to save their own skins and then, when they realise it hasn't worked and the mob are coming for them anyway, try to crawl back to to their victims as if they were on their side all along.

Anytime they have a role where the transition is ongoing in the film and not already completed, they have zero choice but to have a normal man play the part. These films run on tight schedules and they cannot either wait for the guy to slim down via a starvation diet to drop muscle mass, or wait for a TIM to go off the hormones to return to his pre transtion state and then back on them to get back to his chemically altered state. Neither one of those options is healthy in any way shape or form and furthermore, the performance would suffer from all the bullshit needed to achieve the look.

That article, it's full of so many lies and so much unsubstantiated hogwash that wouldn't pass a cursory fact check or Google search! The outfits that pose as the "LGBTQ" press these days are all propaganda rags on the level of Pravda and Der Stürmer. Nothing like the alternative press in the Western world of yesteryear. People like him and Radcliffe just took that stance to get headpats and attention anyway, and now that he has realized the mistake he has made into pandering to an incredibly aggressive and deranged group and/or sensing that the tide is turning, it will be fun watching the wokies go after him and hopefully make him develop some honesty and brain cells.

He's also played a transwoman (which is considered massively problematic in woke communities, nevermind that they all celebrated him for it back then), but watch him get not even a smidgen of the threats of rape and murder she gets. If he gets any gendered insults at all I'd be surprised.
