Merriam Webster's new definition of "bisexual" is that it can mean “of, relating to, or characterized by sexual or romantic attraction to people of one’s same sex and of the opposite sex” or “of, relating to, or characterized by sexual or romantic attraction to people of one’s own gender identity and of other gender identities.”

OK, so the first part I get, but I'm old school and believe in biological sex.

But given that Facebook used to offer around 50 gender identities in the US (and around 70 in the UK - guess people in the UK have more personality) how hard must it be to find someone who matches your exact gender identity?

How does that work on a dating app? You might have to list dozens of gender identities so as not to exclude a potential match. And how does the app decide which gender identities are valid, and/or what if yours doesn't appear on the app?

Not to sound like grandma, but things were much easier back when it was just LGB...

Sounds like someone should create a compilation image of the definitions of all the other words that start with “bi” and highlight the two in everyone one.
