After I posted this, I had a thought: J.K. Rowling is a woman of tremendous courage, who has been instrumental in giving other women cover to speak out and who will go down in herstory, but she's already sitting on a mint.

So while I totally support the brave maker of this t-shirt, think about spending the money for a t-shirt on supporting the incredibly brave women out there tackling Trans, Inc. under their own names.

Jennifer Bilek and Julian Vigo have excellent, investigative journalism blogs that need funding.

Meghan Murphy (FEMINIST CURRENT) Amy Hamm and April Halley (and others) are doing fantastic work in Canada.

WoLF (Women's Liberation Front), FIST (Feminists In Struggle) and Women's Human Rights Campaign are fighting the good fight in the US, including in the courts for WoLF.

In your own area, you can find a women's group and support it.

T-shirts are great, but we also need to help the women fighting for us, especially given the risks, physical, mental and financial, they are taking on for us.
