Two things you can do:

  • Demand an escort into every gender neutral bathroom/locker room, etc., saying, truthfully, that you're afraid. If enough of us do that, corporations will soon get fed up and we will get our spaces back.

Get a towel, have some one hold it for priavcy, and pee outside the gender neutral bathroom. Take a picture, block out your face, and send it to whichever government entity took away women's bathrooms along with a list of transgender crimes.

Tell the city that they should thank you because, by peeing outside, you're sparing the city at least one lawsuit when a man assaults a woman inside the gender neutral bathroom.

Fuck them. Fight.

Why not identify as a man for the time it takes to wee, piss on the floor of the mens bathroom, smear it with period blood, take a shit in the sink, leave makeup stains everywhere etc? Have a group of "men" breastfeed in the mens toilets while making eye contact with everyone who enters. Men don't give a shit, because it doesn't affect them, so let us start the process of affecting them.

Have you BEEN inside a men's toilet?!?!?!?

Good luck and don't forget your Hazmat suit.

Been in them, and been kicked out for trying to use them. This isn't going to be a pretty fight, but that's the point isn't it.

It's just all the germs in men's toilets - YICK - and then there's the MEN. You are a brave soul!

But, its SO fun to hear men squeal! ;)

The thing with men is they'll groan, but then they'll get used to it because women in their bathrooms might make the older ones uncomfortable, but the younger ones have grown up with sick, sick and ever-more-outrageous porn, so actually might get off on women breastfeeding in their toilets.

And women can't force men to reproduce, so at the end of the day it's discomfort and embarrassment for men when women come into their bathrooms, but for us it could be life-changing.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't want to make life harder for the janitors. Maybe we can make stickers to label men's washrooms as gender neutral and women's washrooms as our own.

OMG I LOVE STICKERS, imma order some next time I have extra free shipping, so I can print them once the gender ideology reaches anywhere near me🤗🤗

I was thinking something like that today.

Just bring your own signs, honestly. Paste one up where ever you happen to need to go. If this is truly a free for all, you can print out a bunch and just have some fun. Dicks and vaginas, or just fix the error and slap a woman's sign up over it. Or witches and vampires. What the fuck ever.

I'd feel safer going into a men's toilet in most places to be honest. All the sick fucks are next door.

What is the logic behind making the women's bathroom the "gender neutral" one? I don't understand (actually I do, TIF can't use men's urinal since they don't have a functional penis, and only TIMs seek this kind of "validation"). Make the men's bathroom the gender neutral one.

This is misogyny. There is no logic here.

Honestly, I hope more places do this very soon. It’ll be a very fast and effective way to peak people.

I’m seriously considering using the men’s room when I come across this.

Why not, as long as men are allowed in both? Really, what would be the difference?

There's a good list of bathroom/locker room offending there: tragically most of the links are dead.

I see gendertrender has been shut down :(

Totally sexist and just plain illogical. Saw a post from a FB friend boasting about all the unisex toilets in Limerick and 'nobody got jumped , JK!' Although a unisex might actually be safer / busier than a woman's toilet ? I bet the TRAs are not wildly enthusiastic about unisex at all. Btw some men are not comfortable in unisex either. I'm agnostic on that but I hate mixed dorms in backpacker hostels. Which is most of them now. Obliging me to pay for a private room. If nothing else this controversy has revealed how inadequate women's bathroom facilities are in general

So an effective "pink tax" on female backpackers - pay more $ for privacy, or less $, but pay with your body/presence to rest among dudes. Moving backwards.
