'The deranged Rowling hate intensified this week after it was reported that her next Strike novel – the detective series she writes under the name Robert Galbraith – will involve a backstory about a man who dresses as a woman and then goes around murdering women. ‘Transphobia!’, the woke Twitterati predictably yelled."

Rowling did not say that character identified as trans, though. If men in dresses aren't supposed to be automatically trans, then why are they yelling transphobia?

I'm happy for the tras to go absolutely apeshit on this. Overton window creeps back towards normalcy every time a dangerhair shrieks that jk rowling must die because she wrote 1 line in a 944 page book about a man putting on a woman's coat and a wig.

Hmm. Why, indeed.

Someone on ovarit shared this snippet from a times article titled Janice Turner: Want to burn books? Take a tip from the Nazis | The Times

I’m not sure Jedward, the perky Irish pop duo, have ever burnt a book. JK Rowling’s new novel Troubled Blood, they tweeted, would make excellent fuel for a romantic blaze: “Aww get all cozy and comfy,” said Jed and/or Ward, “can’t wait.”

I do hope the twins’ home has another winter heat source, because anyone who’s tried to burn even a thickish newspaper supplement will know the problem. It catches on the outside, singes a bit, before going out in a puther of smoke. And given JK’s latest work is only out in tough-to-torch hardback, I suggest they spatchcock the book flat, Jed scrunches up each of the 900 pages to maximise oxygen circulation, then Ward fans the sparks with a pair of bellows.

Even so, I’m not sure this will work in a domestic fireplace. They could douse it with lighter fuel but I’m worried about the alcohol content of Jedward’s hair products. Watch those quiffs, guys! (A fire extinguisher is a must.)

If JK’s thriller still remains stubbornly uncharred, they might have to move their romantic conflagration outdoors. Learn from the experts! The Nazis knew the secret of book-burning was to build a pyre with a whole bunch of volumes, as with the library of Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institut für Sexualwissenschaft incinerated in Berlin for its scientific research on sex. (Spooky! Rowling’s views on biological sex — ie that it exists — are controversial too. Guys, it’s an omen!)

Thankfully JK Rowling has published 20-odd novels, and Jedward might also include Gordon Brown’s book Moving Britain Forward, to which she contributed an essay on ending child poverty. This should create quite a blaze, although Jedward might first wish to check the Clean Air Act 1993 and section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, plus whether neighbours have left any washing out.

So, all in all, I fear burning JK Rowling’s book might pose an unexpected challenge for Jedward — though not one as hard as reading it.

Idk, it's still batshit insane.

Falsely accusing someone as "transphobia" should be considered a criminal offence. Those TRA psychopaths are nothing different from rapists and serial killers.

"When your ‘activism’ involves tirelessly insulting and sexually harassing a woman for having a thought that is different to your own, you need to have a serious word with yourself."

Good quote.

Yes it has. Nobody burned R. Kelly's music, Cosby's DVDs, Weinstein's work, or their That '70's Show collection when Danny Masterson was accused by several women of violent rape. But all of TikTok is setting Rowling's books on fire for saying women menstruate & writing a book based on REAL males who dressed in women's clothes & committed murders? (Jerry Brudos & Russell Williams). This says everything about society's hatred of women vs. how little we hold men accountable for acts that are 10000x worse. Same for how Ellen is being dragged for months for allegedly being "mean". I guarantee there are 30 male celebs that are equally "mean" or worse but not a peep.
