So, if I read this correctly, the proposal is that if someone shows up to a temporary homeless or emergency shelter, and they are the opposite sex of the one the shelter serves, they will be transferred to the correct one. That seems fair. They won't be denied service because of the anti-discrimination laws protecting "gender identity", they'll just be moved to a different shelter.

So many people in the comments think this revision will deny trans people service. They most likely saw some dumbass facebook post claiming this would "take away trans rights" and didn't even read it.

I hate people so much.
