The faux-trage is ridiculous because there's nothing "transphobic," no matter how the screaming mob defines it, in the book.

I think Rowling played a game within a game. She knew that the book would be immediately labeled "transphobic" by Wokus Dei, but also knew that no evidence of anything remotely trans-critical would be found in the actual book, so, as people read the book, the Twitter mob, and their media enablers, will look like the testerical idiots they are.

Well played!

As far as I know, Graham Linehan, the UK comedy writer and male GC champion, came up with Wokus Dei. At least, his Twitter account was where I first saw it.

I sort of wonder whether the Telegraph knew what they were doing as well.

I don't know what the Telegraph's motivation was, but I read that they hate Rowling because she's so liberal on many issues, but in the US, the complete lies being told by the media about Rowling's new book just goes to show how much money is behind Trans, Inc. They seem to have bought much of the mainstream US media.

The Daily Beast, INSIDER and Vanity Fair are all making spurious claims about Rowling's "transphobia" and/or this book, claims that can be disproved simply by reading Rowling's actual words.

I think Rowling's smartest course would be to not sue these publications for libel but instead let people read the book for themselves, as millions will, and find out that she has not said anything "transphobic."

Plus, as I keep saying, most people are TERFs, so as these moronic media outlets fan the flames against Rowling, more and more people will realize how lunatic-fringe trans activism and gender ideology is, and, as it hits the schools and women's sports more, they will reject it.

IMO, one of the reasons Don the Con's cries of "fake news" has gained so much traction in the US is because the US media has lost any credibility on gender issues with their relentless pumping out of pro-gender ideology propaganda that no one but brain-washed youth can take seriously at all.

No matter what JKR says, does or write, everything will be considered transphobic and a violent crime against the poor trans women. Barf.

To be fair, to write one novel in which the grumpy man lead deals negatively with a man in a dress trans woman crim is one thing. To write another featuring a man in a dress serial killer does look like JK has an axe to grind, especially given the tweets etc.

I myself as a terf wouldn't be keen on making it look like I was obsessed with Jessica Yaniv types up to no good, if I were a novelist. Not ALL the time.

I wouldn't say one sentence out of an 800 page novel is "featuring" but the woke twitter crowd certainly tried to make it seem that way.

Here's the entirety of the reference in her new novel

Ah I see! This whole thing is insanity!

The thing is, this book's mention is just that, an almost insignificant mention in passing. If it were about another group, no one would have even noticed.

I actually think the opposite: I think that rather than reassure everyone that we aren't "transphobic" by constantly saying things like "transwomen are not the threat" we should let the public know that some TIMs are very much the threat.

We need to go on the warpath and tell everyone that TIMs go to jail at staggeringly high rate, disproportionately for sex offenses, and that most are heterosexual men with a fetish and get turned on by stealing women's clothing and used tampons and listening to women urinate.

We have protected extreme gender activists for too long, it's time to be honest about the actual threat some of them pose to women and children in women's spaces especially.

Moreover a man dressing as a woman in order to facilitate committing a crime, ie as a disguise, does not equal a stunning and brave transwoman. I guess their logical problem is that if any historical evidence of a woman dressing as a man in order to facilitate social activity means she was really trans, the idea of someone donning a disguise for nefarious purposes must be one and the same.

They have no logic. But what concerns me is all the normal people who are swallowing this gender insanity whole - politicians, judges, school administrators, librarians, teachers, scientists.

Look at all the booksellers who won't sell Rowling's new book. Book people are supposed to be the last bastion of sanity in a crazy world and against censorship, yet so many not only won't sell her book, they release these sanctimonious statements as if she were a world leader who had written a plan to round up and genocide kittens.

Collective insanity and we need to not give an inch. NO MALES IN WOMEN'S TOILETS.

In a few short years, "I just want to pee" has come to mean violent, sex-offending, heterosexual men in women's jail cells.

We need to Tell A Friend, Tell A Woman, just talk, about what's happening, as often as we can to as many people as we can. And we need to do it now.
