The most irritating part is this guy stripped naked in a sex toy shop, used a dildo on himself in public, and not once in the article did they admit that she was a he.

That the press plays along with this just proves that the Emperor has a shitload of money funding his fetish.

Why is there no mention of them.being trans? This is a news article an this should be reported with all the facts.

From the photo, I could tell right away that this person was a guy. But people who read only the headlines/text would assume he was a woman.

Remember those vile "Girls Gone Wild" videos? They should have a casting call for such a thing and have ONLY "women" like this guy show up. It might make a good reality show to see how men who know they're men relate to men who want others to join their "woman" LARP. All-male cast. Keep women safe and away from it. I feel like women aren't being heard here at all. Maybe if men stand up and say NO, something will change?

I can't find any article that refers to her as a transgender woman and the more detailed report refers to her as a "naked female" – which I think would not be the case if it were a male exposing a penis. Can someone verify the accuracy? Otherwise, we're just sending a message that natal women can't have masculine features.

It is possible that this is a woman, and that's also what's so irritating about the media's use of "she" for TIMs - that now we are left in this Twilight Zone where we're guessing the sex. The Capitol One hacker was referred to as a woman in almost every media outlet I read. Unless you saw a picture of him you wouldn't have known it was a he.

And yes, maybe in some places they have to legally use the criminal's chosen gender, but it's infuriating and dangerous.

Why are so many people OK with this gas-lighting of women?

I think it might be against the rules (if not the law) to 'misgender' such a person. Believe me, the Daily Mail would say it if they could.

This is a biological woman named Theresa Ann Stanley. This article has an older photo of her and not one news story mentions a trans person, but many refer to her as a "naked woman".
