NPR got so much negative pushback from this dude's interview they had to change what they wrote on their site.

I just wish that someone with a large Twitter following would make the obvious point that this guy's history of claiming appropriation is OK starts with him appropriating womanhood.

Why do TIMs get such a pass? If he had instead claimed to be black, Ari Shapiro would have probably spent a whole episode of ALL THINGS TRANSGENDER woke-scolding him.

Oh NPR, informative companion of many a childhood car ride. What happened to you :(

NPR is bought now - I used to be a supporter too. If you listen to their sponsors, it's KAISER, the Koch brothers (brother) and others with a vested interest in slanting the "news."

I stopped listening to NPR because, and I am not making this up, every time I turned on NPR, no matter what city I was in (NPR outlets air different shows) there would be a piece on transgenders. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

OK, occasionally, it would be a piece on non-binaries, but you get the gist. GENDER, GENDER, GENDER.

The last time I listened to NPR (I was cooking and desperate for distraction) it was a piece on some high school student who had just "come out" as.... DRUM ROLL PLEASE... NON-BINARY. Or transgender, one of those. Or maybe gender-fluid.

This time, the NPR reporter paid a little lip service to people who think all of this is fadist baloney, but then went into a GLOWING account of this kid and its life, with the grateful parent also interviewed. And maybe the kid's therapist too.

Does Trans, Inc. not realize that by astroturfing every kind of media they are causing people to actually think about how stupid gender ideology is? Keep going, Trans, Inc! The more exposure people get, the more they realize this is a dangerous, nonsensical house of cards.

There is a great quote from the book where Vicky describes rioting as "femme as fuck" because it is "irrational and angry".

Really, really hating these people who decide to turn "woman" into a marketable essence that they use to cash in with.

Ya, I really REALLY hate how now we have to rely on right-wing sources to unpack this sort of stuff. Most mainstream media seems to have abandoned neutrality and gone alt-left, full TRA supporting. So it's not surprising that conservative journalists are the ones digging into and exposing all this.

Another Marxist TRA.

Why am I not surprised?

If only exploited workers could identify as bougies.

One of his parents works for MIT, IIRC and is a professor if I'm remembering correctly.

So yeah, he knows the struggles of the "underclass" BECAUSE HE LIVED THEM.

Who's exploiting him? The New York Times, or Google Books?

And there it is, ladies and gentlemen, the nadir of woke bullshit.
