Person hates their body, so person lost enough weight that their shoulders are wider than their hips. Person stopped menstruating. Instead of addressing weight loss, or other hormone issues doctors prescribe progesterone which causes PMS. So person comes to the conclusion their anorexia and and reaction to progesterone means they're trans.

I couldn't make head nor tails - or perhaps I should say shoulders or hips - out of this person's account, either. Though I did get what you say, that this a person who "hates their body" & is anorectic. But are this person's shoulders really wider than their hips? Or is that just the person's distorted perception?

It's outlandish that doctors are Rx'ing progesterone & other potent exogenous hormones that are compatible with patients' biological sex willy-nilly as though these are the answer to body-image & identity issues & other mental health conditions... It's even more outrageous that physicians are Rx'ing cross-sex hormones for trans & enbies , & calling this "HRT".

Post-menopausal women nowadays can't get true HRT prescribed even for legit medical reasons like chronic UTIs, vaginal atrophy & pelvic pain coz after the research on the dangers of HRT for women that was published in 2000-2002, the medical profession decided whatever benefits HRT offers post-meno females, the health risks are far greater.

Seems like there are just more & more double standards - & women always get the short end, especially women who are "old," who are always on the bottom-most rung.

Good summary - you can add on the terror of being considered 'cis' to this as they might mean they are not as special as they originally thought.

There are far too many health care professionals who, once you focus your attention on them, appear to hate people/women.
