First off that is horrific that you have to deal with so much stress for just wanting to exercise your right to free speech. A suggestion off the top of my head is consider forming a club or do a zine focusing of critical thinking in the age of woke/sjw.

I've spoken about it with my mother and although she agrees with me, she told me to be careful. You can get investigated by the cops for even misgendering someone where I'm from.

I think you should write a novel about a college student who risks it all to defend women's rights. Make it Orwellian. While she says "women are women," the Stalinesque/ Red Guard powers that be shout TWAW from all directions. At the end make it a story being read to women in the 1950s and they all shake their heads and say that is some crazy science fiction! Maybe in "literature" form you could publish it and get other women to read it? Or you might get arrested for that too! Maybe we should ALL be writing songs, short stories, novels, cartoons, comics, little movies (for those with equipment, skills, and time) like this and publish them everywhere. Can we use the arts to get our point across? Or can you be convicted of "hate" at this point even if it's a comic book or a song?

I guarantee that there's a very large contingent of students and professors at your school that aren't buying into this gender nonsense at all. I was shocked lurking on r/gendercritical at how young so many of the posters were - so there are many very young women out there questioning gender ideology.

At the moment, they might be staying quiet to avoid the hassle, but once prominent people like J.K. Rowling break ranks, more and more will be emboldened to speak out.

Conservative students are more likely to not be snowed by gender ideology, so maybe make common cause with them on this issue? And then, more liberal students and professors might have the guts to join you.

WoLF (the US radfem group) routinely works with conservative groups on the issue of women's rights.

I myself have worked with groups across the political spectrum on crucial issues. Conservatives might not share your political views on everything, but some are very nice people, and it's about the issue. Focus on the issue and you will get along.

I recently called my own university and spoke with both the alumni office and the president's office about the schools' promotion of gender ideology. I also talk to school friends about it.

Perhaps if any of us are in a position to do similar - call our own universities and hold them to account -we alumni can help university students like OP break through?

Those of us who can, should do, to help others who can't, like this wonderful OP.

I genuinely fear being kicked out of my university for being a "TERF"

Can they actually do that? Seems like one hell of a potential discrimination lawsuit.

I don't know to be honest... but I've heard of people being kicked out of Harvard for being racist, and although it's totally not the same thing I think to some people it is.

EDIT: Also I've seen posts on here about women losing their jobs over GC views. It sucks but I don't want to ruin my job prospects over this.

True about the job prospects. I don't think they could really kick you out of college, but if you were public about your views, your "bad" reputation would follow you.

What's worse is that the industry that my dream job is in (game development) is notorious for having a disproportionate amount of TIMs 🙃

Yeah, in that case I'd be super careful.

Women have lost their jobs over it, unfortunately. It's a real concern that OP shouldn't have to consider but that's the world we live in right now.

I wasn't very involved with student groups in college (I didn't live on campus because I couldn't afford it), but I would firstly find some new friends and dump the others as soon as possible.

Is there an office of student affairs you can ask for guidelines on creating and promoting a new club/publication (like the feminist zine you mentioned). Make sure you follow the rules and it will be harder to shut your club down.

Same thing for having any donation drives on campus, make sure you follow all the rules. Otherwise I don't have any good ideas, sorry!

Ditch the genderspecials. Just cut them off.

You could also do some stickering...

This is great! I mentioned in a previous comment that it's really hard for me to ditch them, I grew up with a few on them and when it comes to making new friends it's hard to filter out right away who is/who isn't one. But these stickers are awesome, I'll 100% be getting some, and make my own. Thank you.

Find some new friends.

It's just hard, like you invest your time and energy to hanging out with people and you agree with them most other issues and they're very kind, but then you find out they support TRA nonsense. It's usually not one of those topics that come up right away. I also have childhood friends and family that now identify as non binary. I'd love to find more radfem friends.

I think a feminist magazine is a great idea! Totally old school ;) You could start with 'neutral' topics like abortion, religious oppression, womens history, women's spirituality, political underrespresentation etc, and then gradually slide in some terf ideas. You could distribute it anonymously. Print it at home and leave copies in the women's bathrooms ;)

You can speak up for yourself. I know it's hard and scary. The worst you will probably get is a finger waggling. But it's very safe to simply play dumb and say "I don't understand?"

For example "I don't understand? I though sex and gender were different, but now they're saying if someone has a female gender that means they have a female sex? What am I missing?"

And "But if "woman" means "everyone who identifies as a woman", then what's the new name for the half of the population which still isn't studied in medical trials, historically was denied the right to vote because of their sex, and has their reproductive rights controlled by law in many countries? It can't be "cis women" because trans men, non-binary female adults, gender fluid females, agender females etc are included. No, it can't be "females" because that included dogs and flowers. What's the name for the group of people who had to go undercover to get an education because of their sex? Did they stop mattering? They're half the population and the half that gives birth to everyone else."

And "I thought SEXual attraction was about sex? Sex and gender are different things, aren't they? It's not called "GENDERual attraction". How could you even be attracted to a gender identity? How can you be sexually attracted to something you can't see or notice until someone else tells you?"

Phrase them as innocent "Sorry I don't understand??" questions and you will convert people. Just keep saying "I want to be inclusive, but i just don't understand. I'm sure you're right, it just doesn't make sense to me."

Then come back here (or to Ovarit) and we'll help you out on any curly ones they throw at you ;)

Every time a woman speaks up for herself, she gives other women permission to speak too. You are likely not the only one thinking this. Always speak up, even if you have to whisper.

This is genius! I don't know why but with all the reading I do around gender it's hard to not want to outright expose their messed up logic. I never thought about feigning ignorance. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I'll be taking your advice and everyone else's in this thread and will try and take action. Hopefully I can find a group of like-minded women irl :)

I would recommend you to try to cover this issue through writing. That is, you can express all your thoughts in the form of an essay and publish it for the public, or you can create a blog that will be filled with content on a similar topic. It is also a great idea to write a research paper on this topic because any research paper is based on certain facts and evidence, which is why it will be convincing and effective. But if you suddenly have difficulty writing, I immediately want to recommend you the service https://papersowl.com/write-my-research-paper, which can quickly and efficiently write your research paper and do it without plagiarism. I think it will be useful for you and you will succeed.
