    I feel like much of this could describe me, but in which case... I don't understand why so many women, particularly on the left, appear to lack empathy with lower class women and people in bad situations. I don't think I'm particularly "unique" but it's not hard to imagine at all being in a situation where I would not be in control and would have to depend on the compassion of others. And that "other" should not be a male if I don't want them to be. I don't know, I would have thought this was something all women would understand instinctively, so are the people arguing against it very young, very sheltered, or just extremely selfish?

    Maybe some middle class women are as bad as many working class women have said they are.
