we can be valuable in discussing feminism

That’s exactly the point, we don’t think you can be valuable. If anything you’re a liability and hurting feminism.

For instance as a young professional, there’s been a real push in recent years by young people for a more casual work environment. For many women, it means no make-up, no skirts, no fancy blouses or high heels to work, just jeans, t-shirts and sneakers. While women are saying “no more make up, skirts, and high heels”, trans women are saying the opposite! that if you see someone wearing make-up and a skirt at work, it means they’re a woman. While women are saying “we don’t want to be treated like women, an equal society is where men and women are treated equally”, you have trans women screaming they “just want to be treated like women”. As you can see, our objectives are conflicting. The gender roles women are working to dismantle, trans people are relying on them and want to hold them up, in order to “affirm their identities” We are not on the same team!

Nice comment there.

I saw that too! Those women went IN. I’m so proud of them. They really outnumbered the TRAs.

Amen!

What's oppression to us is just fetishy fun to them.

Further, since you are automatically assigned the male gender-role or female gender-role as soon as your biological sex is observed, and "transwomen" virtually never "pass", WE get "inferior" status enforced on us... and they don't. Because everyone can plainly see that they're men. So, for them, these accoutrements of inferiority-- the obligation to be decorative, trivial, placating-- are a CHOICE. Which is ENTIRELY different than when society requires them of you, as part of your assigned gender-role.

Why doesn't everybody understand this?

And wtf does that have to do with a sub about periods? Especially on a post where some woman is all like "MEN HAVE PERIODS TOO, WHEEEEEEE!!!". That has fuck all to do with feminism.

Part you quoted, was her quoting that person with "men have periods" and answering to that part.

FFS nobody is making heels and makeup illegal. They can wear them and a pronoun badge, no biggie.

Why would a pronoun badge be required?
