Who did the polling and was it an online poll? TRA organisations will publish polls that are worthless given they've been online and/or with leading questions.

Yeah, it's hard to believe that nearly half of any population thinks speech should be criminalized. If they did, I'd want to push for specifics: Ok, so how much should someone be fined for saying that humans can't change sex? 5, 10, 25k? Should they go to prison, for how many years? Is it worthy of a death sentence? These children need to be given volunteer work with people who are actually oppressed and suffering.

You can get the full results here. It was on behalf of a Scottish free speech campaign group so not TRA, almost the opposite.

Then that is truly depressing.

They don't come across as insane: https://freetodisagree.scot

That makes It even worse. Are Scottish people really into the whole trans thing?

It does seem like Scottish people (but especially politicians) are really gung-ho about being seen as more progressive than the rest of the UK, even though they aren't in a lot of ways.

Bloody Sturgeon.

Yeah I've noticed this as well. They see England as being stodgey and overly conservative, so they run hard in the opposite direction. They've been all aboard the trans train for quite some time, but wordcrime is taking it to a whole new level.

As much as they try to push the idea that Scottish nationalism is somehow different and better than other nationalism but it still very much relies on seeing themselves as superior to other countries. I remember when they got rid of nearly every Tory politician in Scotland and Scots nationalists and Labour supporters were posting, completely unironically, that the Scottish were simply more naturally socialist than the rest of the UK. Then of course the Labour vote also collapsed and the tories came back in then suddenly the natural socialism of Scots fell out of fashion on message boards.

Scotland is now in the trap Canada is in. Trying to prove itself superior via extreme wokeness rather than addressing its real social problems.

The real poll question is "Should it be a crime to have opinions?"

Or "Should it be a crime to acknowledge reality?"

Sadly, the Wokesters DO believe in ThoughtCrimes

These are the children who will put us all in gulags when they are in power around the world. We have allowed the schools and universities to turn our children against commonsense and reason. Their rebellion against their parents and society won't take the form of shocking fashion and loud music like other generations. This lot want nothing less than bloody revolution and authoritarian regimes.

The Woke are the Chinese Red Guard, and that should scare the hell out of everyone.

Chinese people aren’t down with TRAs and transbians. This stuff comes from the West 100%.

[–]our_team_is_winning 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (11 children)

I meant the Woke use Chinese Red Guard tactics, like smashing statues and getting professors fired. As for TRA, I had a Japanese friend tell me this is a Western issue, but is it going to stay that way? Jon Stryker's Arcus Foundation doesn't really care about the Great Apes around the world. He's just using the Apes to get his foundation's foot in the door to spread the Trans Agenda.

[–]BEB 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Trans, Inc. is changing laws ALL over the world, not just in the West. Africa, Asia - almost every country is being infiltrated.

The legal changes are all very deliberately hidden because Trans, Inc. knows that they would be extremely unpopular if people knew the truth. They hired a prominent international law firm, Dentons, to come up with a game plan and part of the game plan is to hide what they're doing.

They are especially trying to change the legal definition of "sex" to include "gender identity." This then throws gay men and womens' rights into limbo because many are written on the basis of sex.

It has hit Japan, your friend hasn't seen it yet, but if she did a little research she would. About a year ago, I read an article on Japan and what Trans, Inc. was trying to do there.

Regarding the lesbian bar dispute in Tokyo, I’m going to pretend to be shocked that it was some white male “weeaboo” TRA spearheading this bullshit. He even had his own fucking “waifu” themed party in protest against the bar after they wouldn’t let him in.

Now TRAs are conflating his gender swap on paperwork in Texas with gay marriage rights in Japan. He is not a lesbian! He is a privileged foreign male sicko. He is not a feminist either, nor is Ana Arriola, another Western male/ “transbian” Japanophile weirdo trying to mansplain to Japanese lesbians and invade their only social refuge. He called the bar owner a TERF and wanted to boycott and destroy her financially, and she relented and apologized after the bullying.

”Ogawa also noted that decades of operating a bar in Nichome has taught her to be careful. Not all individuals who are born male and wearing female clothes are genuinely transgender. In her own experience she has seen cases of heterosexual men cruising Nichome in drag with the intention of picking up women, as part of their own sexual fetishes.“

She was trying to protect women and these pieces of shit have now set a precedent!

Also, considering the abysmal record Japan has for political representation of women (90% in their House of Representatives are men, the worst in the G20), TIMs could easily overtake women in terms of total numbers in political office if this bullshit keeps up.

Thanks for the info. Beyond horrified here at Trans, Inc. and the INSANITY of people playing along with a sexual fetish. Remember not long ago the Target store chain said they would no longer have "boys toys" "girls toys" aisles (I honestly didn't know that had EVER been a thing anywhere! Aisles labeled "Trucks" "blocks" "dolls" yes, but only ever seen "boys" and "girls" for clothing) -- yet at the SAME TIME Target said men could use the women's room -- based on what? If "boy" and "girl" has no bearing on toys, then it should have no bearing on clothes, hair, makeup, whatever. So what exactly makes these men "women"? He wears dresses? Many women't don't! Dress does not equal woman. Hell, we put dresses and lipstick on poor chimps to pose for greeting card photos! Doesn't make them human. You cannot change your sex. Do we really need that on billboards? I guess we do.

[–]BEB 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

There's a website tracking crimes against women in Target's dressing/bathrooms. There were a lot once Target instituted the gender neutral bullshit.

If I can find the site, I will post it.

BTW: I haven't shopped at Target since, even if I urgently needed something Target had in stock. I called Target's corporate office and told them why, otherwise my boycott would be unnoticed.

I also told Target's corporate office that I am not a conservative, because the trans activist lobby has convinced politicians and corporations that it's only conservatives who care about women's rights/ safety.

I figured you were prob. making an analogy with the Cultural Revolution era, and I agree that TRAs really are that aggressive. The smashing statues or monuments thing is not unique to Woke tactics, however. Emmett Till’s memorial plaque gets vandalized and shot through with bullet holes every few weeks after it’s replaced, including by University of Mississippi frat boys, and they’re about the opposite of Woke. Physical destruction and intimidation are something I see TRAs engaging in mainly because those are very male-dominant activities regardless of who is doing it, and aggressive TRAs are almost all TIMs.

There will be handmaidens there to support them of course, and they’ll condone their violence, like the women screaming to let TRAs into women’s sports activities, prisons, showers and bathrooms, safe spaces/shelters, etc. because they think it won’t hurt them personally, and the hell with other women.

I haven’t heard of the Arcus Foundation but based on what I’m reading right now, it’s a crying shame if he’s going around the world conflating LGB with TRAs, which will definitely hurt not only women but also all LGB people who are already targets of violence. I think it will only be a matter of time before TRAs are outspoken in every culture. In the case of Japan, they have so many other issues facing women (one of the worst equality records of any developing country) that since TRAs aren’t much of an issue yet, it might not be on their radar now to worry about the West.

Men and their violence! Someone else posted the other day to this website by Jennifer Bilek. Amazing shocking scary stuff about TRA funding including Arcus, the Pritzger TiM and others. I followed the link last night and was just horrified. Handmaidens gotta stop that! The assault on women and children, nay, humanity, is unreal here.

Bilek and her blog are amazing.

Her twitter is full of information too and you can then see other GC feminists and follow them. @bjportraits

Also, to people like me who aren't internet savvy:

You can use twitter without having an account. Just type a twitter handle ( such as @bjportraits) and "twitter" into a search engine and then you're on Twitter and can also use the search function to find other twitter accounts.

Thanks for the tip on Twitter. I think they are AWFUL because they cancel and deplatform people, are totally anti free speech, yet allow terrorists to post (!) so I do NOT want to join, but it seems like so many people still post there. Same for facebook. Wish there was a genuinely NEUTRAL place for people to post, far away from cancel culture.

Edit: Twitter still wants me to register and login. No! DID find this but don't know if it's up to date. No new stuff since June:

You can read Twitter without registering or logging in - I've been lurking on GC Twitter for years without being on Twitter.

Just go to Chrome or Safari or Firefox or whatever you use.

Type in "@bjportraits" and "Twitter" with a space between and without the quotation marks and then you can read Jennifer Bilek's Twitter or you can type another Twitter handle into the Twitter search.

Or you can click on any Twitter handle that interests you on Jennifer Bilke's timeline (their posts) and you will then be taken to the other person's Twitter.

Bilek's Twitter links to a lot of GC feminists and parents fighting childhood transition.

If you get a prompt from Twitter asking your to login or register just ignore it - I don't remember what the prompt says, but it's never been a problem to get around it. Maybe try another search engine?

That's the same way I read REDDIT r/gendercritical - I never registered, just read from my search engine. Type in "Reddit" and "the sub's name" and you can read anything on REDDIT.

I've collected a bunch of Twitter handles of GC feminists that I will post here, but it is VERY easy to read Twitter without registering. The British GC feminists are a riot.

Thank you for sharing. That was a depressing read. In countries where gay people have to hide their orientation because it’s a question of life or death, and women are still second class citizens or worse, he’s using his platform and privilege to make their lives even more of a hell.

When will the TRAs look in the mirror and see they are most like the current Iranian regime—- deeply misogynistic, gender role obsessed, and pushing gay and gender noncomforming people into forced mutilative surgeries (in the case of Iran, with the alternative of death or complete ostracism)? And yet I’m sure this Arcus guy is so proud of himself.

Right. Time to raise the minimum voting age to 25. (I actually wouldn't have minded at that age, but I was a bit weird, so it might not go over so well with the average teen.)

Time to raise the minimum voting age to 25

That IS when the human brain is fully developed. When you have people under the age of 25 fanatically saying men can be women and other nonsense, I'd say we have clear evidence of brain development (or lack of)

Protect the younger generations from teachers.

I used to venerate teachers, but the fact that the US's largest teachers' organization/ union, the National Education Association, co-sponsors nationwide readings of transgender activist propaganda "I AM JAZZ" to kids younger than 5th grade, makes me agree with conservatives who say that US schools are now indoctrination centers for Wokism.

Also that Gender Spectrum is allowed to preach to kids in US schools that if they're uncomfortable with their own bodies, reject sex stereotypes, etc., they're actually transgender. Gender Spectrum is partnered with Joe Biden's foundation.

So let's accept, for the sake of argument, that a man can become a woman. I don't believe that, but again, sake of argument, let's say what they're saying is a fact.

40% of 16-24 year olds think you should be arrested for being wrong, in their eyes. That's like saying you should be arrested for saying the sky is green, and there's FAR more ontological evidence to suggest the sky isn't green than if a man can become a woman. There's a reason there's a public debate going on over whether a man can become a woman.

So essentially, 40% of 16-24 year olds think you should be arrested for disagreeing with an opinion that is open for public debate. That is absolutely terrifying.

[–]emptiedriver 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's, ostensibly, what the poll is about. It is meant to be on the issue "free to disagree" and how to handle supposedly inciteful hate speech.

[–]BEB 8 insightful - 7 fun8 insightful - 6 fun9 insightful - 7 fun -  (0 children)

After COVID, we should hold a huge GC gala in Scotland and all say "Men cannot become women" at once and see what the Scottish authorities do.

If they jail us, we should all identify as men and turn one part of the Scottish men's prison into Terf Ville, free bleeding while demanding prostate exams.

That'll teach 'em.

This poll seems dated already because I am pretty certain that saying a man can become a woman is transphobic, because TW are women from the moment of their birth even if they didn't realise till they were 40.

As someone who was born a female infant who became a woman on attaining physical and legal maturity I find that a little eye rolling of course. But the view now seems to be that bodies have nothing to do with gender so there's no such thing as a sex change. (And of course that is kind of true since gender is socially inscribed... but on sexed bodies and without input from us(

[–]emptiedriver 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This poll seems dated already because I am pretty certain that saying a man can become a woman is transphobic,

This poll isn't about whether these opinions are transphobic, but whether these opinions are hateful and/or should be criminal - in the same vein as how you'd respond to statements deemed anti-gay marriage, anti-religious, ageist, or ablest.

It's about free speech vs hate speech. In other words, it's basically presumed transphobic, but is that a crime? So even those who disagree with the statement that it should be a criminal offense may agree with the statement that a man can become a woman.

[–]Aletheia 6 insightful - 4 fun6 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

And yet 80% of Scotts have said in a poll it's not okay for intact male TIMs to be in women's changing rooms.

I think what we are seeing here are the youth buying into the lie that most transwomen are effeminate HSTS who had childhood GD.
