Piggyback on legit issues like gay rights (from the article):

Anyway, here’s another tip from the document: 'Tie your campaign to more popular reform.'

For example:

'In Ireland, Denmark and Norway, changes to the law on legal gender recognition were put through at the same time as other more popular reforms such as marriage equality legislation. This provided a veil of protection, particularly in Ireland, where marriage equality was strongly supported, but gender identity remained a more difficult issue to win public support for.'

I’ve added my bold there, because I think those are very telling phrases indeed. This is an issue that is 'difficult to win public support for' and best hidden behind the 'veil of protection' provided by a popular issue such as gay rights.

Transgenderism is the only civil rights movement that people abandon when they find out what exactly they are supporting. It's no wonder that they try to keep their intentions hidden.

When you really dig deeper the reality of transgenderism then it's really so hard to go back to your clueless supportive self...

The trans demands lobby in the US has been passing laws on the local and state level for years under a cloak of darkness. As we now know, it has a tremendous amount of money behind it, as well as very powerful people.

Until women like us started waking up, no one in the US, except conservatives/ the conservative press, knew these laws had been passed. And so the Democrats could write off opposition to Trans, Inc. as only from religious groups.

But now, average Americans have started to be affected, and as they are affected, they're getting angry.

If the Democratic party wants to lose big, they're on the right (or rather, WRONG) path.

That's why Trans, Inc., has made sure that the Democrats pass the Equality Act right after Biden wins, so public opposition will not have time to build.
