Some 25 year old woman. She's about 10 levels down from me in seniority. She completely lost her shit when I was quickly going through our diversity stats at the beginning of a meeting. She was so upset it was insane. It was like watching a nervous breakdown but everyone was comforting her and telling me that I shouldn't be closed minded. I have no public supporters. I quit my job and took another job. But I have another month of this before I leave. I worked day and night for women and they have gone crazy.

Again, title of my post. What on earth exactly is in it for her to lose her shit on you, another woman, on their behalf? I truly don't fucking understand. I'm with you, we're with you. I'm sorry it's such a mad world. I'm younger than that woman is but I can tell you the kids are going crazy. No respect for reality or history, no respect for women, no respect for the experts or the elders. I'm sorry.

All I can think is they honestly can't grasp the threat. It's not that they gain anything. They just don't see clearly. I guess naive is the kindest word I could use. I have a younger coworker friend who is fine with the idea of making all campus bathrooms unisex. I said "I do NOT want to change a tampon in a stall next to a man. NO!" And she just shrugged and said well she grew up with two brothers, so it wasn't a big deal to her. Women who are really comfortable living with men and sharing toilets with them don't seem to care. Maybe they honestly don't get that some (I think most?) women do NOT want to do personal things in front of men? I had one friend go crazy sending me documentaries about boys who "knew" they were girls at an early age, mental torment, suicidal, etc. and why couldn't I understand that some boys are actually girls. Um.... because they're not? Those documentaries got to her before any article on TiM violence against women I guess. Same friend vehemently defends Bill Clinton against his long line of sexual assault charges. Total denial that men can be monsters I guess.

That's pretty dumb. Doesn't she realize public unisex bathrooms are NOT like the bathrooms at home, which are usually single occupancy anyway? And that she won't just be sharing these bathrooms with her brothers but with the entire male general public of strangers, with all its' rapists, voyeurs, sex killers, etc etc etc?
