Oh I had no idea it wasnt in all of them! I just checked it out via overdrive through my local library. Yes there was a bit of a wait as well.

Ooh, how much of a wait? I love it when there’s data on public interest in this stuff.

Perhaps a movement to leave copies in Little Free Libraries, recreation centers, medical offices, etc.

The one problem there would be that TRAs could steal and destroy them. With libraries, at least they’ll be financially accountable if they “lose” it.

Great idea! I will donate some to local libraries.

Be sure to check their policies on donations first. You don’t want to spend in the range of fifty bucks for a few copies only to have them sold for two bucks each at the next library book sale.

Great idea; I just asked the library system in Maryland to add it. They probably won’t, but I’ve tried at least.

I bought it and just finished it and I was not impressed. By her own admission she only focused on upper middle class people, hardly used statistics, expressed some very anti feminist opinions (it’s clear she’s “conservative” tho not full on right wing) and based the book on a mere handful of interviews. Her solutions were not to give your teen a cell phone and move across the country if they announce they’re trans. Not what I expected at all.
