Did anyone see the animemes drama over on reddit? It's currently filled with revolt posts and they've lost 100k. The schadenfreude. Long story short, the mods over there made a decision to ban the word trap because it was twansphobic (nevermind there is a r/traps). Many people revolted and made /r/goodanimemes. One of the trans mods who called the critics of the ban bigots and other stuff on another sub was widely criticized then posted a non-apology before stepping down. Even another anime sub that had banned the same word but walked back on the ban came over and commented about it.

Not being able to use trap on the internet because some find it twansphobic is the end of the world and free speech, but women defending their existence as a category and all they've fought for the in real world is transphobic and so awful that exile and threats are the only answer...

This is why they only bully women, they know what happens when they come for men. I wish so many women on Reddit weren't lining up to grovel to these men.

Eta: Omg, Im reading some of the comments. Are these guys really throwing this big of a fit bc they cant say trap? And were supposed to believe men aren't privileged. These are their problems.

It might have not been meant as an insult. There's a lot of kids out for Summer right now, a lot of them anime fans that are autistic. She is a mod of an anime sub iirc, so I couldn't imagine her being derogatory about the people there.

From my read of the comments, the drama ensued not just from the 'trap' ban, but because the mod that started it began slandering the entire community as 'bigoted'. I hope this wakes a lot of Redditors up to the power that these trans idealogues wield on Reddit.

Ridiculous, they get rid of the feminist subs with barely a word in protest from women on reddit (trollx and twoX were celebrating that shit) but try the same censorship and fail when it's only about a word about hentai/anime, then they run with their tail between their legs. Goes to show that TRAs are really good at coming in hot and righteous but when their targets bully back, they turn into the biggest cowards.

Honestly, it pains me that women don't have as much solidarity or backbone for our own much more fundamental issues, patriarchy has really done a number on so many of us.
