One of my most hated phrases is in the first paragraph: "a woman of trans history". I fucking hate that TRAs just keep watering down the language for TIMs, further and further obfuscating the fact that TIMs are male.

I have seen that "woman of trans history" bullshit quite a lot recently, but I'm shocked to see it used here in an article from 2014. Wow.

But if they want to use it, fine with me. Just answer me this: why is it that for so many of those "women", a "trans history" means a history of being a rapist?

"A woman of trans history," sounds like a detransitioned woman to me. Not a TIM.

Does that mean the male genitals are history? Of course not.

Woman of trans history sounds like a description of a woman who desisted, not a TW.
