These racist posts should be removed. One of the primary tenets of radical feminism is opposition to racism---but my having to say this makes me feel like a jerk.

And what does it say for this sub that 8 (as I write this) persons upvoted this? Either it's infiltrated by trans or there are right wing women aboard--or some other divisive class of people.

Facts can't be racist.

There is a difference between not excusing men because of their race (aka "black men are also patriarchal and mysoginist" which is true of men of all races and creeds) and absolutely villifying a whole race and accusing them for their own misfortunes (which is borderline victim blaming). This post just isn't it.

Black men's sexism is coddled and justified by both the black community and liberals outside of it. it makes talking about domestic violence , rape and sexual harassment a difficult topic. Black women often have trouble getting help for these issues because of the racist and inept police departments and the BLM activists don't care as much as they care about men and money.

I don't think this behaviour is innate but there's no consequences for their attitudes and thus nothing changes.

Every region of the world has had slavery. 18th century Africans wouldn't have considered rival tribes or lower classes their brothers. That's modern romanticism. Many slaves tried to return to Africa and found they were still not wanted by society when they returned and had to set up new societies in inhospitable places like Sierra Leone.

Here's my favourite evil quote from West African history.

"If I were to abolish human sacrifices, I should deprive myself of one of the most effectual means of keeping the people in subjection" - Ashanti King

People seem to either imagine slavery era West Africa was either noble savage eden or all actual savages when in fact it was a complex mix of society's, some of which were empires with their own range of hierarchies and religions as blood thirsty as the Aztecs. However you don't see Mexicans trying to pin their modern problems on their ancestors' behaviour.

While there may be cultural problems with black male violence and African politics it isn't inherent. They have a choice. If they didn't have a choice they wouldn't have any responsibility for their actions.

Honestly can't believe some people upvoted this troll. Do take a look at this account's very first post.

Unironically arguing that not only are black people incapable of struggling with mental illness, but black men in particular are the most violent and savage of all races of men

This is racist as fuck
