I don't see any "personal attack" in what I said. I noted that you were saying the same thing about Hillary as was generally used as a (sexist) criticism against female candidates, but not male - that they are power seeking. Maybe I shouldn't have said "reeking" of sexist bias, but I still see your comment as very similar, maybe identical to, the usual takedowns of women. It's funny that you're so hot under the collar over it, like I'm trying to take away your right to make "your decisions" and hate Hillary if you want to. I couldn't care less. But you sure didn't convince me that your criticism of Hillary was any less sexist than I originally thought it might be.

So calling someone a sexist in a woman-centric space isn't meant to be a personal attack? Yes, absolutely hilarious that I'm so hot under the collar about it, condescending air quotes and all.

The discussion was about feeling unable to trust politicians and media. I stated what I felt, firstly naming a male political figure that I didn't trust, then later a female political figure that I also don't trust. I'm not going to make an addendum that men are also power-seeking, because yeah.. no shit. To be honest, if you cared so little about it you wouldn't have replied yesterday, deleted it, then replied again today--but here we are. You're targeting me specifically out of this entire thread because I don't trust someone that you clearly do and I stated why. If you're not convinced that I'm not a sexist because of it, that sounds like a you problem.

I am not going to apologize for pointing out what looked like sexism to me, especially in a woman centric space. Hillary is the brunt of a huge amount of misogynist hatred in this country which I think she doesn't deserve, she is a fellow woman and I wanted to defend her. I am sorry you are so upset at what you see as a personal attack on you by me, but it really wasn't intended that way. Saying that I thought a specific comment of yours seemed sexist is not the same as calling you a sexist. As I said, I guess I shouldn't have said "reeked of sexism", that was a poor choice of words, and I am sorry for that. Anyway, I just don't care enough about you as an individual to "personally attack" and/or "specifically target" you, so why don't we just end this here?

My whole barfblog was about it not being sexist because I don't feel the way I do on the basis of her sex . All of us have dealt with sexism, and it fucking sucks to feel belittled over something that we can't even control. I get absolutely ass blasted about having things that I say be misconstrued, which has usually been tied right along with sexism itself and used against me for leverage.

If your apology is sincere, then I'll accept it.

I am sorry only over my choice of words, but I STILL don't know that you do or don't feel the way you do on the basis of sex. Women can also be sexist, consciously OR unconsciously. Attacking a woman on the basis of her being power seeking is sexist. You attacked me first, basically telling me I wasn't getting women anywhere by trusting Hillary, but you didn't even notice your own fucking attack because it was on me, not you. However, I doubt that you consider me to be worth any apology from you. So fucking leave me alone, you make me sick.

Oh, so I'm not the only one who's perceived it.
