I hope it's alright for me to post here.

I was one of the men who lingered on the Reddit Gender Critical forums. I posted here and there. A lot of people helped me gather information. The "PeakTrans" threads chimed with my own experiences. I frequented other forums, such as r/detrans and posted occasionally. But I generally stayed silent.

I was dismayed when Reddit decided to undertake a great purge. It has been one of the things that compelled me to move forward on this.

I wrote a series of songs on the topic. I thought some of you might be interested in this first release. It's a slightly different approach – a rap song. I understand it might not be your genre of choice. But I think it's a powerful, alternative medium to address these issues.

i like it! the part about age hahahah! and the chorus is quite catchy. to be honest, i'd like to be a bat because i think they are fascinating animals, but oh! i'm trapped in this human wingless body!

Well, gender IS a social construct, biology isn't. And femininity IS performative... but choosing to perform it does not make you a woman. Sorry about nitpicking - it's catchy, though! :P

navigate the world through echolocation --- I lost it!!!! Brilliant! I want in on that age thing. Sick of being invisible as an older woman. "Hello, I'm actually 20! Pay attention to me! And if you don't you're age-phobic" -- guessing that's not going to work. Maybe if the govt makes it a hate crime for others not to view me as 20.....

This is utterly brilliant. Also love the allusion to Nagel’s “What is it like to be a bat?” I use this to teach people critical thinking & more than a few have drawn their own conclusions regarding the unprovability of gender (or, indeed, religion). 😈 You are brave and I hope you go far.
