So, if you don’t FEEL totally attuned to your sex, or to your “birth sex,” you’re a DEMIGIRL. Thus, girls are demigirls and boys are also demigirls.

Very convenient. Demigirl girls aren’t really female, but half female so cannot qualify as feminists. And demigirl boys can assume transgender status because aren’t male enough to be boys so must be the “weaker” sex.

This adds up to a lot more trans gals, and a lot more half gals... so a great reduction of real women, and actual feminists.

Anyone else long for the days when people were simply too busy for this type of horsehsit to take hold ? Honestly, it amazes me that people have the time to be THIS wrapped up in the trans cause. It must sap all of their free time and probably some of their work time to constantly be going on about this stuff on the internet.

This stuff is annoying. It's like the trans community thinks 'woman' means having a full face of makeup at all times and never doing anything fun when in reality a woman can literally have ANY personality. She can be feminine, masculine, both, or whatever. She's still a woman and there's nothing wrong with being female. It's regressive as fuck to act like women can only look and behave ultra feminine. Having hobbies and interests outside of makeup and cooking doesn't make you less female. Really you could replace the word 'gender' with personality. Labeling everything as a gender is ridiculous.

At this point, with all the fiddly gender identity BS, aren't we all trans? Like people baptized by mormons after death, when we can't object.

This is the type of thing that I find so problematic about contemporary gender ideology. As an adult, I can roll my eyes at it. But when sex education materials incorporates these concepts, prepubescent and pubescent children are being told by authority figures that there is some kind of woman/girl feeling or man/boy feeling that they're supposed to have in order to be a certain sex.

That's horrible! They're at the exact age when it is normal to feel disconnected from their bodies, scared of their expected adult sexual identity, and have a lot of identity issues. Instead of being given the tools to navigate a bog standard phase of life, this type of ideology is confusing and destabilizing them.

And there's no research or science behind any of this. It's just shit that developed in Tumblr echo chambers. But somehow norms shifted over the past decade such that it's become dangerous in many social circles to say that the emperor has no clothes. Even though none of this makes any sense or has any grounding in material reality. It also is appropriative of the gay rights struggle.

I was about 13 when I started browsing Tumblr (I joined to view fandom content primarily, but it's basically impossible to avoid gender politics on there) and I remember seeing this and 'identifying' as a demigirl literally because I thought I 'wasn't like other girls'. Took me a while to realise how toxic that mentality was and see through the gender bs...

I'll file it away in my mind next to the SCP Foundation wiki.

I can't believe I've gotten into screaming fights lately just for stating that there aren't multiple genders. There aren't, how difficult is this to grasp?
