It's absolute insanity, reddit is full of men who are outright white supremacists, men who want to hurt and rape women and children, men who tell other men they are worthless and should kill themselves, men who spout rhetoric that emboldens political assassinations and mass shootings, etc etc.

But the TERFs are the big bad boogeyman?

It's the same types that years ago rallied against "feminazis", only because that fell out of favor they needed a new term to hate on outspoken women.

He basically explained to me that it was probably because this sub wasn't supposed to be political, but for one it kind of is and second... If that is so, why is being a "terf" not okay but being a TRA is not explicitly prohibited ?

A while ago I was reading a thread on TIA about TRAs, and all of them said things way worse than what we say.

They still made a point to say that we are trash. Except if they were women they would be called TERF as well.

It actually used to be pretty good, but it turned into a hate sub in the last 3-6 months. Speaking as someone who used to read it a lot. Now about half of what is there is stalkerish Gender Cynical crap.
