I saw a pic of that man kicking a fit and the news said he uses “she/they” pronouns. Of course one of the protestors arrested by the federal government is a TiF. Not only is that guy a TiF, but he goes to Reed. Reed is as insane as Evergreen, but with wealthy kids. I hope he gets help for his anger, depression, and mental problems.

Oh lord. Good to know about Reed -- I thought (hoped?) Evergreen was uniquely fringe.

In terms of the students holding administration captive and having a protest about seemingly nothing, Evergreen is not fringe in that regard, no. Many college campuses experienced protests/rioting by students during and after the time Evergreen did.

In terms of the students who are extreme, angry hippies holding the administration captive thing, Evergreen is more unique in that sense as it’s a liberal arts college that doesn’t provide grades and has a different model of schooling its students. Reed is Evergreen’s compatriot as far as the extreme angry hippies at a liberal arts college that uses an experimental approach to teaching students. For Reed, you just add in entitled children of the wealthy. Reed never had the notoriety Evergreen did, but they make sporadic headlines for lunatic behavior by the students.

Wait, Evergreen doesn't have a grading system? Then how could people go on to grad or professional school?

But yeah, I had internet friends back in the day who went to Reed and I think they were all trans and had multiple mental disorders, I think they had dorm assignments based on interests and stuff like that. I think HP fans wanted to go there because they thought it was like Hogwarts.
