Was this on The Guardian somewhere? This cutting of jobs and dying because of radfems? Any links? (Trust me, I think the site is as biased as any - but I still want the facts ;))

It's all unfolding on twitter the music editor of gaurdian who signed a petition to silence one of the women editors asked that people continue to support the news platform is now backtracking due to so many comments about his denial of biology. I'm trying to find the specific tweets blaming terfs (too lazy to use imgur). To be fair there are (fewer) people calling guardian transphobic and blaming that for the lost.

Edit: Here's the a quote: "To the cis women who feel betrayed by the Guardian's coverage of trans issues: I'm genuinely saddened to have lost you as everyone working here wants to fight misogyny, sexism and patriarchal power/bullshit. (5/10)"

And another: "I signed the letter in the wake of Suzanne Moore's column because I thought she mis-characterised the fight for trans rights as denying women's rights. I respect debate and part of that is calling out something I don't agree with. She isn't silenced, nor would I want that."

Ridiculous.. and now I have to go check that out. It's almost like most women are "terfs" but don't peak until (far) left wing platforms make it more mainstream.

The Guardian almost made me peak the fuck out of feminism entirely, tbh. And I used to really love their work. (Still do sometimes, like the Panama Papers reveal, but unbiased reporting from them nowadays seems to be as rare as a male vagina.)

I stopped visiting the guardian when I noticed many of the articles are missing a comment section, it just doesn't feel honest anymore with so many larger news sites having an open dialogue.

The same happened to me. It's absolutely ridicoulous to claim to support debate and then mute comments in the articles.

Before that, I hate-read their stuff and nothing more, because frankly the 90% of the crap they publish is woke idiocy at its finest.

But when you block comments it's because you know people don't agree with you and don't want anyone to see it to keep selling the lie that everyone is on your side. Fuck them, and I am glad they are getting troubles for their lack of morals and transparency.
